The purpose of the paper is to show, through selection given criteria, which them has greatest impact on food losses in an agricultural-food company. For this purpose, innovative expert method multi-criteria decision-making, SiWeC (Simple Weight Calculation), and its fuzzy variant, was applied. results show that criteria “poor handling products during transport” “inadequate packaging products” have impact. Considering already existing plan company train part work processes, assessment confirms research. Also, successful use with application logic confirmed, future research should be directed towards development new ways researching influence individual factors entire process supplying end consumers.

This study focuses on evaluating the influence of criterion weights ranking top ten universities in Vietnam. Criteria were determined using four different methods, including equal weight method, Vietnam University Rankings (VNUR) system, entropy and Logarithmic Percentage Change-driven Objective Weighting (LOPCOW) method. Four university methods applied: Proximity Indexed Value (PIV), Ranking Alternatives with Weights Criterion (RAWEC), Root Assessment Method (RAM), Simple Process (SRP). The results indicate that use calculation does not significantly affect rankings. leading consistently maintain their position rankings, regardless or used.

Abstract Assessing the financial health of banks is crucial to ensure stability system. This not only a way safeguard interests customers and shareholders but also prevent inherent risks reliability in banking operations. Thus, evaluating plays role maintaining sustainable development sector. study employed three methods: RAM (Root Assessment Method), PSI (Preference Selection Index), SRP (Simple Ranking Process), assess twenty-eight Vietnam. Capital adequacy rating, asset quality management earnings liquidity sensitivity market risk rating are six criteria used characterize each bank. The evaluation results using these methods were compared with other CAMELS identified good those weak health. notable point that ranking RAM, PSI, SRP, according system quite similar. These findings vital providing valuable information for managers investors, aiding them making informed decisions regarding investment, management, strategies based on empirical data.

The transport sector, pivotal in sustaining economic activity and regional development, stands as a double-edged sword, enhancing competitiveness mobility while posing substantial challenges to environmental sustainability. It remains heavily dependent on fossil fuels, characterized by inefficient infrastructure scant emphasis stewardship. This trajectory not only undermines long-term viability but also exacerbates pollution levels, including greenhouse gases air noise pollutants, thus degrading quality health risks globally. Consequently, there is an imperative need for paradigm shift towards sustainable practices. study employs the Ranking Alternatives with Weights of Criterion (RAWEC) methodology assess sustainability various modes within European Union 2020. Evaluation criteria included employment numbers, turnover, final energy consumption, gas emissions, transport-related fatalities. weight coefficients were calculated using Standard Deviation Method, Entropy, FANMA methods. findings underscore necessity strategic adjustments transportation planning policy align objectives.

There are many types that can be used to manufacture crankshafts, but choosing best one is complicated work. This study carried out select among four commonly deployed types, including 1080 steel, 18CrMo4 4130 S48C steel. Fifteen parameters (criteria) were chosen describe each material. weights criteria determined by three methods, Mean weight method, Entropy MEREC (Method based Removal Effects Criteria) method. To rank steel PIV (Proximity Indexed Value) method was adopted, it demonstrated ranks did not depend weighting followed. choice generally utilized for production.

Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods play a significant role in evaluating and comparing options based on various criteria, helping optimize decisions complex situations. They enhance transparency fairness the decision-making process while minimizing risks optimizing decision performance. Ranking of Alternatives with Weights Criterion (RAWEC) is MCDM method recently proposed early 2024. Its advantage lies minimal steps required for implementation. Simultaneously employing two data normalization approaches also distinctive feature RAWEC compared to most other methods. However, if there at least one zero element matrix, using available cannot be utilized. This study aims address these limitations. Investigating suitability when combined has been conducted scenarios. The results this have addressed limitations method. Specifically, an alternative identified as suitable replace matrix.
