Modern agriculture is primarily focused on the massive production of cereals and other food-based crops in a sustainable manner order to fulfill food demands an ever-increasing global population. However, intensive agricultural practices, rampant use agrochemicals, environmental factors result soil fertility degradation, pollution, disruption biodiversity, pest resistance, decline crop yields. Thus, experts are shifting their focus eco-friendly safer methods fertilization ensure sustainability. Indeed, importance plant growth-promoting microorganisms, also determined as “plant probiotics (PPs),” has gained widespread recognition, usage biofertilizers being actively promoted means mitigating harmful effects agrochemicals. As bio-elicitors, PPs promote growth colonize or tissues when administered soil, seeds, surface used alternative avoid heavy In past few years, nanotechnology brought revolution due application various nanomaterials (NMs) nano-based fertilizers increase productivity. Given beneficial properties NMs, these two can be tandem maximize benefits. combinations NMs PPs, synergistic use, its infancy but exhibited better crop-modulating terms improvement productivity, mitigation stress (drought, salinity, etc.), restoration fertility, strengthening bioeconomy. addition, proper assessment necessary before application, dose should applicable without showing any toxic impact environment microbial communities. The combo encapsulated within suitable carrier, this method aids controlled targeted delivery entrapped components increases shelf life PPs. review highlights functional annotation combined manner.

Abstract Many plants possess immense pharmacological properties because of the presence various therapeutic bioactive secondary metabolites that are great importance in many pharmaceutical industries. Therefore, to strike a balance between meeting industry demands and conserving natural habitats, medicinal being cultivated on large scale. However, enhance yield simultaneously manage pest infestations, agrochemicals routinely used have detrimental impact whole ecosystem, ranging from biodiversity loss water pollution, soil degradation, nutrient imbalance enormous health hazards both consumers agricultural workers. To address challenges, biological eco-friendly alternatives looked upon with high hopes where endophytes pitch as key players due their tight association host plants. The intricate interplay endophytic microorganisms has emerged captivating subject scientific investigation, profound implications for sustainable biosynthesis pharmaceutically important metabolites. This review delves into hidden world "secret wedlock" endophytes, elucidating multifaceted interactions underpin synthesis compounds significance plant hosts. Here, we briefly diversity highlight potential role core endomicrobiome. We also propose successful implementation situ microbiome manipulation through high-end techniques can pave way towards more enriched future.

Soil salinization is a serious ecological problem. Bacteria and cyanobacteria both have great potential for saline-alkali soil improvement. However, the effect of co-applying bacteria on improvement crop growth promotion in remains unclear. In this study, effects Paenibacillus sabinae (potassium-solubilizing bacteria) Leptolyngbya sp. RBD05 (cyanobacteria), produced brewery wastewater, properties, wheat growth, stress tolerance were studied by applying them to alone or combination. The study indicated that P. important roles increasing N:P ratio, K:Na proline content, superoxide dismutase activity, as well slowing decline nutrient content caused absorption. Compared control group, co-application had best available K dry weight, root length (increased 26%, 85%, 70%, respectively); it was more conducive promoting ratio 41%), which would better improve wheat’s tolerance. This provided new clean strategy quality promote from wastewater treatment.

Abstract The growth of endophytic bacteria is influenced by the host plants and their secondary metabolites activities. In this study, P. megaterium P-NA14 D-HT207 were isolated from potato tuber dendrobium stem respectively. They both identified as Priestia . antimicrobial activities strains explored. For activities, results showed that exhibited a stronger inhibition effect on pathogen dendrobium, while potato. supernatant an only Staphylococcus aureus , sediment Escherichia coli metabolomic analysis, content L -phenylalanine in was higher than D-HT207, several key downstream associated with S. including tyrosine, capsaicin, etc. Therefore, we speculated different between possibly related to its metabolites. This study preliminarily explored why same hosts exhibit perspective metabolomics.
