Due to enhanced surface-to-volume ratio tunable physicochemical properties nanomaterials, nanotechnology-based emerged as transformative in sector, offering unparalleled sensitivity specificity detecting analyzing biological molecules targeted diagnosis. This review explores advancements biosensor technology, emphasizing integration various metal nanoparticles, carbon quantum dots, enhance device performance terms sensitivity, selectivity, stability. We discuss operational principles different types- such electrochemical, optical, solid-state, DNA-based sensors their applications healthcare, from early detection personalized treatment Moreover, delves into challenges, alternate solutions, future prospects development, highlighting role artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, 5 G communication creating next-generation smart applications.
