ABSTRACT The aim of this research was the therapeutic drug monitoring for valproic acid in epilepsy patient's serum samples by common, sensitive, and accessible HPLC‐UV method. Because absence a suitable chromophore structure, facile, selective, cost‐effective pre‐column derivatization designed. This catalyst‐free ultrasound‐assisted assay can accomplish very quickly only 5.0 min at mild temperature 60°C. 2,4ʹ‐Dibromoacetophenone nonanoic used as derivatizing agent internal standard, respectively. effect sample pH, buffer concentration, ultrasound exposure time, reaction temperature, amount were optimized. proposed method exhibited good linear range 5.0–300.0 µg/mL with acceptable correlation coefficients 0.9981. limit detection low 0.4 µg/mL. Also, quantification reported 1.3 Interday intraday relative standard deviations ( n = 10) 1.1% 0.3%–7.0%, In addition, recovery ranged from 100.3% to 107.7%. measurement performed presence several non‐epilepsy drugs developed protocol. confirmed specific accurate determination serum. A comparative evaluation employed against precise chemiluminescence immunoassay approach. coefficient between two methods 0.9992, which demonstrated results statistically same.

ABSTRACT This review highlights recent advances in the bioanalysis of cephalosporins using liquid chromatographic methods, focusing on green sample preparation (GSP) techniques. Cephalosporins, a class β‐lactam antibiotics, are critical combating bacterial infections but present challenges related to drug resistance and toxicity. article evaluates various including solid‐phase extraction, microextraction, protein precipitation, which have been employed extraction quantification from biological matrices. Special attention is given optimization parameters, such as pH, solvents, purification techniques maximize analytes’ recovery sensitivity. Emerging trends GSP, use molecularly imprinted polymers miniaturized processing devices, also discussed. The underscores growing importance integrating environmentally friendly approaches cephalosporin bioanalysis, paving way for future innovations bioanalytical research.

A method using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD) was developed and validated to quantify the innovative tool LightSpot®-FL-1, a selective permeability-glycoprotein (P-gp)-targeted fluorescent conjugate used measure P-gp expression in cell samples. Quantifying is major challenge oncology as its overexpression many cancer cells results Multidrug Resistance (MDR) associated chemotherapy failure. To develop reported herein, both sample preparation analysis parameters were investigated. Optimal chromatographic conditions achieved 5 µL injections at 1 mL/min flow rate on reversed-phase Zorbax® Eclipse Plus 3.5 µm C18 column (150 × 4.6 mm) isocratic acetonitrile/water (85/15, by volume) elution. Detection performed 505 nm excitation 510 emission wavelengths. Validation studies designed according International Council for Harmonization (ICH) guidelines bioanalytical validation. The limit of quantification (LOQ) (LOD) determined be 0.5 0.2 nmol/L, respectively. linearity range demonstrated between 10 500 trueness precision validated.
