Smart photochromic and fluorescent textile refers to garments that alter their colorimetric properties in response external light stimulus. Cotton fibers have been reported as a main resource for many non-textile industries, such automobiles, medical devices, furniture applications. is natural fiber distinguished with breathability, softness, cheapness, highly absorbent. However, there growing demands find other resources cotton textiles at high quality low cost various applications, sensor harmful ultraviolet radiation. Herein, we present novel method toward luminescent nonwoven from recycled waste. Using the screen-printing technology, fabric both was developed using aqueous inorganic phosphor nanoparticles (10-18 nm)-containing printing paste. Both CIE Lab color coordinates photoluminescence spectra showed transparent film printed on develops reversible green emission (519 nm) under (365 nm), even pigment concentration (2%) Colorfastness of fabrics durability photostability.

Photochromic inks have shown disadvantages, such as poor durability and high cost. Self-healable hydrogels photostability durability. Herein, a viologen-based covalent polymer was printed onto paper surface toward the development of multi-stimuli responsive chromogenic sheet with thermochromic, photochromic, vapochromic properties. Viologen created by polymerizing dialdehyde-based viologen hydroxyl-bearing dihydrazide in an acidic aqueous medium. The well immobilized colorimetric agent into polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/tricarboxy cellulose (TCC)-based self-healable hydrogel. viologen/hydrogel nanocomposite films were applied surface. coloration measurements showed that when exposed to ultraviolet light, orange layer on switched green. photochromic film used develop anti-counterfeiting prints using organic hydrogel composed PVA/TCC composite polymer. Reversible photochromism strong observed papers UV irradiation. A detection limit monitored range 0.5-300 ppm for NH
