Abstract
A
doubly
mononuclear
cobalt(II)
complex
[Co(Hpmt)

)
]
(

(Hpmt

2-(2-pyridylmethylamino)ethanesulfonic
acid;

has
been
synthesized
and
structurally
characterized.
Single-crystal
X-ray
diffraction
analysis
showed
that
crystallized
in
orthorhombic
crystal
system,
Cmc
space
group.

two
independent
identical
complexes,
centers
are
both
hexa-coordinated
distorted
CoN
6
octahedrons.

Abstract
A
novel
zinc(II)
polymer
based
on
pyridine
sulfonyl
amino
acid,
namely
[Zn(HL)(H
2
O)
]
n
·4H
O
(
1
)
(HL=(1-carboxylato-2-hydroxypropyl)(pyridin-3-sulfonyl)-threonine),
was
synthesized
by
reacting
Zn(NO
3
·6H
with
H
L
in
a
mixed
solvent
solution
of
MeCN/EtOH/H
under
acidic
conditions.
Single
crystal
X-ray
diffraction
analysis
revealed
that
the
crystallized
trigonal
system,
space
group
P
21.
Notably,
unit
cell
as-formed
contains
only
one
crystallographically
independent
ion,
and
divalent
anion
ligand
HL
adopts
coordination
pattern
η
:η
:μ
.
The
central
ions
are
connected
bridging
through
pyridyl
nitrogen
carboxy
oxygen
atoms
to
form
an
infinite
helix
chain.
Furthermore,
numerous
hydrogen
bonds
were
observed
among
these
chains,
joining
them
into
2D
supramolecular
network.
Finally,
complex
is
stacked
along
helical
axis
yield
three-dimensional
structure.

photoluminescence

Sodium-ion
batteries
(SIBs)
