In this contribution, we have reported our study on the fine-tuned design and synthesis of new POLITAGs-Pd0 (POLymeric Ionic TAG) catalytic systems with intention defining highly efficient heterogeneous palladium catalysts stabilized by ionic tags able to operate at a very low loading while being fully recoverable/reusable. By varying both support ratio between metal immobilized tag, accessed five different that been characterized (EA, XPS, TEM, HR-TEM) investigate their morphological differences. The efficiency newly prepared materials was then tested compared in representative Mizoroki–Heck cross-coupling reaction, universally investigated widely useful process. A close correlation catalyst performances has highlighted. best system POLITAG-Pd0-HM features high TOF value (26,786 h–1), affording final products isolated yields using as little only 0.0007 mol % Pd. Sulfite (SO32-) is considered a highly toxic anion for living organisms. Herein, we report the synthesis of copper immobilized over 2D hexagonally ordered mesoporous silica material CuMS as an electrochemical and colorimetric dual-technique-based sensing platform sulfite detection. The immobilization on was achieved through bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]tetrasulfide (TEPTS) ligand. Morphological physical properties were confirmed by several characterization techniques, including scanning electron microscopy, transmission X-ray diffraction, N2 sorption, photoelectron spectroscopy. retained mesoporosity with narrow pore size distribution (D ≈ 5.4 nm) high Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area 682 m2 g-1 after copper. prepared catalyst shows promising electrocatalytic activity toward oxidation. A linear variation in peak current obtained SO32- oxidation 0.2-15 mM range sensitivity 62.08 μA cm-2, under optimum experimental conditions. limit detection (LOD) found to be 1.14 nM. also excellent anions LOD 0.4 proposed sensor selectivity anion, even presence common interferents. white wine recovery demonstrates practical applicability this sensor.
