Biodegradable polymers are essential for sustainable plastic life cycles and contribute to a carbon-neutral society. Here, we explore the development of biodegradable fibers with excellent mechanical properties using polypropylene (PP) thermoplastic starch (TPS) blends. To address inherent immiscibility between hydrophobic PP hydrophilic TPS, modification masterbatch approach were employed. Melt-spinning trials demonstrated that modified TPS blends (mPP/TPS) exhibited spinnability processability comparable virgin PP. A sheath-core configuration was introduced enhance biodegradability while maintaining structural stability, an mPP-rich part as core TPS-rich promoter (BP) sheath. SEM DSC analyses confirmed strong interfacial compatibility, uniform fiber morphology, single melting points, indicating no phase separation. Mechanical testing showed met industrial requirements, achieving tenacity up 2.47 gf/den tensile strain above 73%. The addition BP increased rate, PP/TPS/BP 65.93% biodegradation after 115 days, compared 37.00% BP-free fibers. These results demonstrate feasibility blending petroleum-based bio-based components create balance biodegradability, spinnability, performance, offering solution applications.

ABSTRACT This study examines the consumer response to (1) pricing and discounts, (2) packaging design, (3) sustainability‐enhancing technology apps on special offers before maximum shelf life expires. A survey of 303 consumers currently living in Germany supports relevance these factors. Consumer attitudes toward sustainability moderate relationship discounts as well that responses. Most notably, by consolidating identifying factors influencing food waste at retail level influence behavior into a holon flux, we introduce concept holons embedded context feedback loops waste, taking sustainable development perspectives. The study's exploration flux highlights need for future research focus varying levels granularity divergent industries, which could enhance precision applicability diverse cultural business contexts strengthen stakeholder engagement.

Bioplastics are adopted to replace fossil-based plastics because they microplastic-free and self-degradable without releasing greenhouse gasses. Despite having many benefits, the main applications of bioplastics packaging kitchenware. Moreover, utilization in electronic is still underexplored. Consequently, development for applications, especially heterojunctions, essential. Here, we report a novel molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)/cobalt oxide (Co3O4) heterojunction based on bioplastic semiconductors, with agar as matrix. This work also exposes effect carrier concentration mechanism an energy band. Using density state three dimensions, Anderson's rule, Fermi level calculated by concentration, find that gaps MoS2/Co3O4 at various concentrations almost match gap evaluated Tauc's relation. Additionally, leveraging photodetector, optimized device indicates ideality factor 1.59, response time 127 ms, recovery 115 ms. Our not only represents significant step towards using but reveals band affected concentration.
