Report on Social Desirability, Midpoint and Extreme Responding in TALIS 2013 DOI Open Access

This paper investigated the effects of response styles in cross-cultural contexts. The authors used data on social desirability, extreme and midpoint responding, scale scores 17 constructs related to teaching profession, which were collected from 76,887 teachers 18 countries Teaching Learning International Survey (TALIS). Main findings are: (1) a 10-item desirability demonstrated partial invariance positive negative impression management factor; (2) general style, representing continuum ranging amplification moderation, was extracted with responding as indicators indicator; (3) style at country level negatively correlated affluence educational achievement; (4) more strongly teacher efficacy job satisfaction than other both individual level; (5) correction had negligible differences these constructs.

The fields of consumer neuroscience, neuromarketing, human behaviour, and hormones (such as dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, endorphins) have been widely studied. However, it is noteworthy that despite the considerable attention directed towards these domains, phenomenon happiness in field marketing behaviour remains largely unexplored within academic investigations. To fill this gap, study conducted a comprehensive bibliometric analysis scientific articles published on combination (neuro*marketing OR consumer*neuroscience AND behavi*) (dopamine serotonin oxytocin endorphins happy hormo*). Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) system VOSviewer software were used to select analyse Scopus database between January 2012 December 2022. included 218 from various subject areas, including psychology, multidisciplinary studies, art humanities, social sciences. results show an increasing number publications over years, with United States being leading country terms publication output, 116 5920 citations. Influential authors, such Jacob S., identified, along highly cited keywords related hormones, "dopamine", "serotonin", "testosterone", "oxytocin", "depression", "stress", "motivation", "behaviour" "anxiety". PLoS One was identified most productive journal (20 372 citations). This first provide current state research suggest directions future field.

Happiness is an increasingly prominent topic of interest across academia. However, relatively little attention has been paid to how it created, especially not in a multidimensional sense. By ‘created’ we do mean its influencing factors, for which there extensive research, but actually forms the person. The work that done this arena tends focus on physiological dynamics, are certainly part puzzle. But they whole picture, with psychological, phenomenological, and socio cultural processes also playing their part. As result, paper offers overview scholarship ‘architecture’ happiness, providing stimulus further into important topic.

Social and emotional skills (SES) are important for various life outcomes, such as academic achievement, mental health, job performance or civic engagement. The assessment of these in children adolescents, however, currently relies heavily on the use self-reported questionnaires. As such, there is an urgent need more direct measurement approaches SES, which look at behaviours, actions choices, order to diversify current portfolio available assessments. aim this working paper is, thus, map review innovative tools well technological approaches, aimed SES. Firstly, documents almost 60 different behavioural tools, namely tasks digital games. These instruments reviewed according a set criteria, including their reliability, construct ecological validity, feasibility. Secondly, identifies biophysiological measures, virtual reality artificial intelligence applications.
