The shift of European countries to more environmentally friendly sources energy is leading an increase in the share natural gas mix. At same time, flexibility and cost-effectiveness maritime transport are making liquefied (LNG) competitive compared traditional forms gas, despite recent geopolitical, health economic events threatening its supply chain. aim this study analyze LNG import network using theory indicators identify trading communities investigate security through failure simulation. model was developed a programming code MATLAB R2022B software. results analysis can be summarized as follows: (a) center gravity trade from Mediterranean Atlantic shores identified; (b) gradual consolidation Europe’s noted; (c) increasing dependence Europe on limited number observed; (d) most critical nodes for resilience were identified modeling. Based these findings, recommendations proposed strengthen independence.

As global energy demand increases, photovoltaic power generation has become the solution to conundrum. Based on product trade data from 2000 2023, this paper examines development of industry chain pattern and impact PageRank centrality top 10% node failures network vulnerability. It accomplishes by employing hypothetical assault strategies intricate networks. Research shown that: ① The PV undergone profound changes. trend multipolarization is becoming more obvious. China's position in each link increasingly prominent. ② vulnerability shows a weakening trend. upstream midstream networks stable. destruction resistance downstream been improved. Fluctuation structure weakened. ③ There distinct gradient susceptibility industrial chain. relatively low, followed midstream. high.

The Russia–Ukraine conflict has influenced global LNG shipping patterns; nevertheless, current research about its effects on the nodes and local regions of network remains insufficient. This study employs a series metrics robustness evaluation model to examine evolution in structure functionality amid conflict, integrating vessel origin–destination data from 2021 2023 analyze network’s robustness. indicated that: (1) alteration trade relations instigated by modified flows, resulting fragmented overall diminished transportation efficiency. catalyzed enhancement European ports, leading substantial rise significance premier ports within transport network. Significant export such as Ras Laffan, hold importance (2) Among various assault techniques, degree-based intentional attacks inflict greatest harm declined following rendering it particularly susceptible 2023. findings indicate that altered work holds theoretical for examining influence geopolitical events improving maritime industry’s ability navigate complicated circumstances.
