Cesium tungsten oxide (CWO) and indium tin (ITO) nanoparticles are potential candidates for application in energy-saving windows. However, most optical studies on these nanocomposite films lack systematic evaluation design methods. In this work, the properties of spherical cylindrical CWO ITO under different geometric parameters based Lorenz–Mie T -matrix theories investigated, spectral responses CWO-PDMS ITO-PDMS windows calculated by solving radiative transfer equation (RTE) using Monte Carlo method. By evaluating optimizing films, exhibit excellent performance, with a visible light transmittance that meets indoor needs human eye ( lum is about 0.6), can shield near-infrared light, especially NIR =0.04). Finally, building energy consumption simulation analysis Energy Plus conducted three cities: Jinan, Hong Kong, Singapore. The results indicate adjusting nanoparticles, effectively reduce tropical subtropical regions. This work provides guidance subsequent commercialization experimental selective composite films.
