In this work, a portable nanocomposite film made from nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiO NPs), multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) was prepared investigated for the removal of Cd (II) an aqueous solution. The preparation carried out by eco-friendly pulsed laser ablation in liquid environmental technique to synthesize NiO NPs decorate MWCNTs form NPs/MWCNTs nanocomposites, followed formation interaction between PVA nanocomposite. After that, physicochemical properties samples were XRD, SEM, EDX, TGA, FT-IR. From structural analysis, matrix showed presence hexagonal structure plane NiO, PVA, graphite, its elemental analysis has just C, O, Ni, which represent constituent elements matrix, MWCNTs, NPs. morphological loaded on outer surface tubular spherical shape. optical typical transmittance peaks Ni–O–C Ni–O appeared. Also, related main functional groups shifted due interactions NiOs non-covalent bonds. thermal degradation is similar that pure but with higher percentage decomposition Furthermore, effects several parameters, such as pH, initial concentration, adsorbent dosage, studied order reach their maximum adsorption, representing optimal conditions these results, adsorption heavy metal ions increased pH peaked at about 7–8. percentages weight dosage raised. Based findings, it can be inferred produced might effective solutions. So, results capability using NPs/MWCNTs/PVA water treatment process utilized purify before released into natural environment.
