This paper presents a review of globalization by examining its main characteristics, types, and the advantages disadvantages associated with each type regard to people, firms, nations. It synthesizes literature provides structured analysis multifaceted impacts globalization. The combines theoretical constructs characteristics empirical observations contributions challenges globalization—based on multiple levels an analysis—including micro, meso, macro. Each is analyzed identify how it contributes economic growth, cultural exchange, political cooperation, technological advancement, environmental collaboration, while also presenting significant challenges, such as inequality, homogenization, dependency, digital divide, ecological degradation. Understanding multidimensional nature allows policymakers, business leaders, individuals navigate complexities more effectively, recognizing both opportunities risks. Although much examined through single lens, this offers integrative comparative perspective across various dimensions. By categorizing into according type, comprehensive nuanced understanding

The baru is a native Brazilian Cerrado fruit known for its high nutritional and techno-functional value, with the potential to generate new food ingredients. Utilizing entire maximizes use of all components, reduces environmental impact, minimizes waste, contributes region’s sustainable development. In this context, study aimed evaluate composition, bioactive compounds, technological properties, prebiotic by-products nuts, aiming at their integral utilization. For purpose, fruits were collected, characterized in terms biometrics, separated into pericarp (by-product) nuts. fatty acid profile, roasted almonds by-products. results indicated that meal had protein content (33.09 g/100 g), lowest atherogenic thrombogenic indices (0.09 0.10, respectively), highest antioxidant capacity DPPH, ABTS, FRAP assays. Additionally, showed levels potassium (14.05 magnesium (2.20 iron (61.80 g). mesocarp stood out higher total phenolic (157.48 mg GAE/100 g) enhanced water solubility (63.90 g/g). almond flour best absorption (3.62 g/g), oil (3.28 emulsifying activity (71.94%), emulsion stability (87.69%), foaming (8.17%). activity, endocarp fermented by Lactobacillus acidophilus (0.76 log CFU/mL) Bifidobacterium animalis (0.62 presented results. These findings demonstrate have full utilization, contributing development underexplored plant species.
