Abstract Background Liuweizhiji Gegen-Sangshen oral liquid (LGS), as a Chinese medicinal preparation, is developed from Traditional formula consisting of six herbs, including Puerariae lobatae radix, Hoveniae semen, Imperatae rhizoma, Crataegi fructus, Mori fructus and Canarli has been extensively utilized in the prevention treatment alcoholic liver disease (ALD) clinically. Previous study demonstrated that LGS dose-dependently mitigated ALD rat models. However, whether how main characteristic constituents (the flavonoid polysaccharide fractions, LGSF LGSP) contribute to anti-ALD effect remains unclear. Auxin response factors (ARFs) are a class of transcription widely present in plants. As an important economic crop, research on the effects safflower ARFs endogenous auxin and effective components is relatively limited. In this study, total 23 ARF genes were identified from genome. Sequence alignment domain analysis indicated presence conserved B3 Auxin_resp domains these ARFs. Phylogenetic that CtARF could be classified into five subfamilies, conclusion also supported by gene structure, consensus motifs, compositions. Transcriptome data showed expressed all flower colors, but expression levels family members vary among different colors. CtARF19 had higher deep red flowers, CtARF3 white CtARF2/12 yellow CtARF21/22 light flowers. Protein–protein interaction network (CtARF2/3/4/5/15/18/19/22) located within network. Cis-acting element suggested may regulated hormone treatment (AuxRR-core) abiotic stress, results qRT-PCR confirmed this. Additionally, content active with colors significantly changed upon hormones affect IAA content. summary, our study provides valuable insights biological functions under exogenous conditions their components.

Alcohol-related liver disease (ALD) is a chronic injury caused by long-term excessive alcohol consumption, with complex and multifaceted pathological mechanisms. Research indicates that oxidative stress (OS), inflammatory responses, lipid metabolic disturbances induced its metabolites are primary contributors to hepatocyte injury, positioning OS as key target in ALD treatment. The main non-pharmacological treatment for abstinence, while medical primarily relies on Western pharmacological interventions. However, recent research has increasingly highlighted the potential of Chinese botanical drugs improving histological features modulating signaling pathways associated ALD, underscoring therapeutic traditional herb medicine. Despite these promising findings, precise mechanisms effects extracts remain incompletely understood, side must be considered. Therefore, comprehensive analysis herbal essential optimize clinical administration ensure safe, effective This review focuses central theme, categorizing into six major groups-flavonoids, polyphenols, terpenoids, alkaloids, saponins, anthraquinones-all widely used provides an overview their characteristics actions context offering insights regulation exploring treatments ALD. Notably, physical exercise shares overlapping regulating OS. Combining two strategies could offer integrative though further needed confirm synergistic benefits applications.

Alcoholic beverages play a significant role in social engagement worldwide. Excessive alcohol causes variety of health complications. Alcohol-induced liver disease (ALD) is responsible for the bulk linked fatalities. The activation immune mechanisms has crucial developing ALD. No effective medication promotes function, shields from harm, or aids hepatic cell regeneration. Alcohol withdrawal one most beneficial therapies ALD patients, which improves patient’s chances survival. There demand safe and reasonably priced approaches to treating it. Exploring naturally derived phytochemicals been fascinating path, it drawn attention recent years modulators inflammatory pathways prevention management In this review, we have discussed roles various ALD, highlighting importance intestinal barrier integrity gut microbiota, as well cells inflammation, other pathways, including cGAS-STING, NLRP3, MAPK, JAK-STAT, NF-kB. Further, review also outlines possible targeting these safeguard alcohol-induced injury. We highlighted that immunological using herbal medicine may find place counteract Preclinical vitro vivo investigations shown promising results; nonetheless, more extensive work required properly understand compounds’ action. Clinical are very transferring laboratory knowledge into patient therapy.
