Abstract
DL‐Isoborneol
is
a
forestry
chemical
product
that
can
serve
as
an
intermediate
in
the
synthesis
of
value‐added
plasticizer
products.
In
this
study,
three
kinds
esters
(octanoic
acid‐DL‐Isoborneol,
decanoic
acid‐DL‐Isoborneol
ester,
and
lauric
ester
[LDE])
with
different
fatty
hydrocarbon
chains
were
synthesized
via
esterification
reaction.

Plasticizers

widely
used

poly(vinyl
chloride)
(PVC),
polylactic
acid
(PLA),
thermoplastic
starch
(TPS),

bioelastomers
poly(isosorbide
carbonate-co-butanediol
aliphatic
esters)s
(PICBAs)

by
facile
economical
two-step
melt
polycondensation.

PICBAs

excellent
tensile
strength
self-healing
ability,
