Mushrooms have long been recognized for their nutritional and medicinal properties, but potential as sources of antimicrobial agents remains underexplored. This study investigates the activity various wild mushroom species against selected bacterial fungal pathogens. Specifically, focused on inhibition zones Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Fusarium oxysporum, proliferatum when exposed to extracts from twelve different species, including Schizophyllum commune, Laeiporus sulphureus, Pleurotus pulmonarius, others. The results revealed significant antibacterial antifungal activities, with commune showing highest oxysporum (71.42 ± 0.28 mm) Microporus xanthopus demonstrating strong aureus (8.46 0.11 mm). Additionally, sajor-caju exhibited notable (76.06 0.14 mm), suggesting its a source novel compounds. observed varied range across emphasizing diverse within mycoflora. These findings underscore importance further research into bioactive compounds mushrooms, which could contribute development new agents. not only highlights significance mushrooms in combating microbial resistance also opens avenues inclusion future pharmaceutical applications.

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in leveraging traditional medicinal plants for modern therapeutic approaches, particularly cancer treatment. The review explores the potential of Camptotheca acuminata, Chinese plant, treatment through innovative phytonano-based drug delivery systems. acuminata contains camptothecin, potent anticancer compound, but its use is hindered by poor solubility, bioavailability, and systemic toxicity. study highlights how phytonano-technology can enhance accuracy reduce side effects using nanoparticles to encapsulate selectively deliver drugs directly cells. This approach could significantly improve oncology therapy addressing limitations chemotherapy. Using PubMed Scopus, prospective research on activities several mushroom species during past 20 years were searched. query included "Camptotheca acuminata," "cancer," "nanoparticles," "traditional medicine," "theranostics." Only entire English-language articles used. Phytonano-Cancer Theranostics with camptothecin effectively targets cells, showing substantial uptake vitro prolonged circulation accumulation at tumor sites vivo. These results demonstrate precise effective therapy. integration offers promising targeted theranostic capabilities However, challenges remain, including optimizing nanoparticle design stability, scalability, biocompatibility, overcoming biological barriers efficient targeting. Addressing these requires interdisciplinary maximize strategies patient outcomes.

Quél, Fomes fomentarius Fr., Schizophyllum commune Lentinus tigrinus Fr.’dir. Sonuç: mantarlar Asya geleneksel tıbbında önemli türlerdir. mantarlar, eski çağlardan beri kullanılmasına rağmen, Türkiye’de iyi bilinmemektedir. İlgili çalışmada, ülkemizde tespit özellikle Tıbbında sıklıkla kullanılan tanımlanmış; bu yaygın kullanım alanları yöre halkının türlere ilişkin bilgi birikimi verilmiştir.
