To
evaluate
the
influence
of
polydopamine
(PDA)
treatment
on
bond
strength,
fracture,
and
wear
resistance
occlusal
veneers
(OVs)
fabricated
using
additive
(AM)
subtractive
manufacturing
(SM)
techniques.
Three
hundred
twenty
0.5
mm-thick
OVs
were
through
AM
SM
from
four
groups
materials
(n=80):
ceramic-filled
resin
(AM-C),
zirconia
(AM-Z),
nano-ceramic
(SM-C),
(SM-Z).
Each
group
was
further
divided
into
PDA-treated
untreated
subgroups
(n=40).
Specimens
cemented
onto
dies
self-curing
cement
(Multilink
N;
Ivoclar
Vivadent)
subjected
to
five
million
chewing
cycles
with
thermal
cycling.
Fracture
assessed
a
load-to-failure
test
3D
surface
analysis,
respectively
(n=20).
Additionally,
strength
evaluated
pull-out
Data
analyzed
three-way
ANOVA
assess
main
interaction
effects

Significant
material
type,
found
for
all
outcomes
(p<.001),
