Salmonellosis in broilers is a disease with considerable economic implications for the poultry industry. As foodborne illness, it also poses public health risk due to potential cross-contamination. Probiotics have been proposed as alternative feed additives aiming enhance growth, livestock productivity, and overall health. This study investigated dietary impact of Lactococcus lactis JNU 534 on growth performance, blood characteristics, internal organ weight, meat quality inoculated Salmonella enteritidis (SE). A total 96 one-day-old Arbor Acres broiler chickens, comprising both sexes, were challenged SE randomly assigned into two treatment groups housed eight pens (four per each treatment, 12 birds pen). They fed commercial diet 35 days. The consisted control group receiving feed, supplemented 0.3% L. 534. Probiotic supplementation significantly improved average body weight gain, efficiency, carcass yield compared (p < 0.05). Notably, abdominal fat pad was reduced probiotics Meat assessments revealed no significant differences between terms pH, cooking loss, drip water-holding capacity. These findings suggest that promising candidate mitigate negative effects performance farms, without adversely affecting Extending research other types could help confirm its wider use an antibiotics.

This study aimed to identify probiotic candidates enhance egg quality in laying hens by isolating and characterizing Bacillus spp. from various local environmental sources, including crustacean guts such as mud crab (Scylla serrata), blue (Portunus pelagicus), banana shrimp (Penaeus merguiensis) the coastal areas of Gulf Thailand Andaman Sea, pond sludge, hot spring soil chicken feces. Identification was carried using biochemical tests, evaluation properties, 16S rRNA sequencing methods. Biochemical tests revealed that all 11 isolated strains had characteristics consistent with Six these exhibited high spore efficiency, CPPES01T2 (74.67%), CKNJh11 (80.33%), OYNH31 (82.07%), THPS1 (71.42%). Strains were sensitive ampicillin (10 µg/disc), amoxicillin (30 cloxacillin (1 tetracycline chloramphenicol kanamycin µg/disc). showed tolerance heat, while CPPES01T2, CKNJh11, demonstrated no hemolytic activity. Furthermore, selected for developing a supplementary feed 16 S identified strain aryabhattai which resistance artificial gastric juice bile salts. Previous studies in mice have demonstrated that Rhodotorula mucilaginosa ZTHY2 can promote animal growth, enhance antioxidant and immune functions, regulate intestinal flora our laboratory. This study focuses on the Leizhou black duck, a local breed Zhanjiang, to evaluate effects of its capacity, function. A total 150 1-day-old male ducks, similar size healthy, were selected for this randomly assigned five treatment groups. Each group contained three replicates with ten birds each. The control (Control) was given standard basal diet, while RM received diet supplemented at concentrations 2 × 10 7 (RM1), 8 (RM2), or 9 (RM3) CFU/kg, respectively. LA CFU/kg Lactobacillus acidophilus addition diet. feeding trial lasted 42 days. analysis revealed significant improvements average body weight RM2 RM3 groups, which significantly higher than ( p < 0.05 0.01). Treatment induced dose-dependent elevation superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), SOD activities, reduction malondialdehyde (MDA) content serum levels complement components C3 C4, immunoglobulin IgG, cytokines IFN- γ , IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, TNF- α increased ducks treated 42-days post-treatment, therapeutic effect becoming more pronounced as duration experiment prolonged. greatest impact observed dosage ZTHY2. Moreover, modulated mRNA expression profiles these thymus, spleen, bursa, thereby sustaining balance dynamics. In summary, supplementation had been found most effectively growth performance by optimizing their function capacity.

The leaves of Rumex nervosus (RNL) have beneficial effects associated with phytochemical products, such as gallic acid (GA), and could therefore a positive effect on breast quality traits in broilers. This study aimed to assess the potential supplementation RNL natural herb quality, carcass characteristics, production indices A total 120 broiler chicks were arbitrarily assigned four dietary treatment groups, each five replicates (♂:♀ = 3:3 per replicate). Each experimental meal was designed contain basal diet 0 g (CONT), 1 (T1), 3 (T2), 5 (T3). During study, parameters collected for replicate. On day 34, one male from replicate slaughtered meat parameters. present findings revealed that broilers treated T2 had larger absolute weight (g) dressing yield (%) (P < 0.05) than other treatments. relative intestine increased increasing doses up g. In terms drip loss (DL), water-holding capacity (WHC), myofibrillar fragmentation index (MFI), shear force (SF) (as an indicator tenderness), springiness, T1 outperformed T3. pH, MFI, SF, springiness decreased significantly at Based these it concluded use preservative, especially T1, can extend shelf life characteristics fresh carcasses.

Abnormal mechanical stress the hip joint risk factor for FHN, articular cartilage attracting increasing attention as cushion lubrication structure joint. In present study, aged 3 4 wk with FHN were divided into femoral separation (FHS) growth plate lacerations (FHSL) groups, normal control. The features of joint, bone, assessed progression using devices including computed tomography (CT), atomic force microscope (AFM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Broilers demonstrated decreased bone properties, narrow space, thickened stellate structures. Notably, abnormal morphology was observed FHN-affected broilers, characterized by increased thickness rough surfaces. addition, developed, surface friction coefficient dramatically increased, while modulus stiffness decreased. ultramicro-damage occurred chondrocytes extracellular matrix (ECM) cartilage. Cell disintegration, mitochondrial accumulation, oxidative damage chondrocytes. A notable decline collagen content ECM during initial stages accompanied pronounced reduction fiber diameter proteoglycan progressed. Furthermore, noticeable loosening appearance type I noted conclusion, there progressive decrease quality multifaceted head, which closely linked severity broilers.
