In this research, the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) dye was explored by employing Zn-La (zinc-lanthanum) oxide nanocatalysts under UV irradiation. Preparation executed utilizing co-precipitation technique, and surface morphology fabricated nanocatalyst were examined via X-Ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), Barrett-Joyner-Halenda (BJH), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Transmission (TEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) methods. BET-BJH demonstrated that specific area 20.43 m2/g. Moreover, response methodology (RSM) procedure utilized to influence operational factors i.e., catalyst amount, pH, H2O2 dose, power. The quadratic model proposed RSM technique with a high R2 value 0.89, demonstrates its reliability. Besides, maximum percentage MB removal reached 75.18% optimal conditions, which include amount 12.05 mg, pH 9, dose 0.44 mL, power 23 W, reaction time 45 min. Further, mentioned after 120 min, efficiency 98.8%. kinetic study exhibited rate constant 0.0363 min-1. According outcomes, oxides have higher ability remove MB. After 5 consecutive reuse rounds, reduction in yield using 5.4%. This can be promisingly for suspension solution.

In this research, the photocatalytic removal of reactive blue 19 (RB19) dye is investigated employing zinc oxide/cerium (ZnO@Ce) nanoparticles decorated with biochar under LED irradiation. Synthesis ZnO@Ce was performed utilizing co-precipitation procedure and, then, texture and morphology fabricated nanocomposite were analyzed using energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), powder diffraction (XRD), transmission (TEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy techniques. Moreover, FE-SEM images demonstrate that ZnO-Ce successfully on surface biochar. The specific areas biochar/ZnO-Ce 519.75 636.52 m2/g, respectively. To achieve maximum yield in RB19 dye, effects operating variables including concentration, lamp power, biochar@ZnO-Ce catalyst dose, pH H2O2 dose explored. Besides, percentage 96.47% optimal conditions, i.e. dosage 100 mg, 1 mL, 9, initial concentration 5 ppm, power 50 W, reaction time 140 min. Furthermore, kinetic analysis reveals follows pseudo-first order model, calculated values a rate constant 0.045 min-1 correlation coefficient R2 = 0.99, reusability recyclability biochar@ZnO/Ce nanocatalyst promising over five runs, only 6.08% decrease efficiency. Therefore, it can be concluded @ZnO/Ce photocatalyst promisingly applied for azo dyes aqueous solutions.
