Mining operations for the extraction and processing of useful geological materials are common anthropogenic activities that generate enormous quantities waste can alter natural balance. In this way, soil, water air contaminated with contains heavy metals, acids many other compounds toxic to environment health. Minimizing eradicating these pollutants is an arduous but necessary task. That why, in present work, physical, chemical mineralogical characterization metallurgical mining was carried out using analytical techniques. Tests trials were also assess degree toxicity, corrosiveness capacity acid mine drainage. general, it found does not contain active elements or could be corrosive. However, due residual content sulfide minerals, drainage, which contaminate groundwater. Likewise, seen metals minerals such as quartz feldspars, reprocessed recover subsequently separate, by flotation, associated silica feldspar, used glass cement industry.
