Human
settlements
suitability
(HEI)
is
the
foundation
of
urban
development
and
critical
for
achieving
sustainable
United
Nations'
goals.
Existing
studies
on
HEI
have
paid
little
attention
to
characteristics
at
different
scales
climate
zones
or
spatial
differences
along
urban–rural
gradients
(URGs).
This
study
used
multisource
data
select
natural
humanistic
elements
constructed
a
framework
evaluating
31
provincial
capital
cities
in
China,
aiming
address
limitations.
The
results
showed
that:

ranged
from

an
overall
increasing
trend

southeast,

inland
cities.

To
reduce
the
high
burden
of
disease
caused
by
air
pollution,
World
Health
Organization
(WHO)
released
new
Air
Quality
Guidelines
(AQG)
on
September
22,
2021.
In
this
study,
daily
fine
particulate
matter
(PM
2.5
)
and
surface
ozone
(O
3
data
618
cities
around
world
is
collected
from
2019
to
2022.
Based
AQG,

concentrations

Investigating
the
imbibition
characteristics
of
coals
can
yield
profound
insights

coalbed
methane
extraction
