Abstract The increasing rate of climate change and the exhaustion natural resources have caused sustainability to be paramount importance across globe. transportation industry is one most important sectors that impacts environment through greenhouse gas emissions other pollutants produced by traditional vehicles. In response these environmental problems, there has been an increased effort promote green alternatives such as electric vehicles carpooling, which can help mitigate adverse effects commuting travel. Previous literature demonstrated intention individuals engage in behaviors affected various factors, their personal motivation create a positive environment. However, behavior different segments population needs further scrutinized comprehend its prevalence resulting consequences. This paper aimed understand effect intrinsic on ecological automobile use mediating role self-efficacy among middle-aged using theory planned behavior. Findings show relationship with predicts individuals. Green mediates between use. Through discovering psychological dynamics establishing eco-friendly transport habits this group, study aims provide effective solutions design interventions policies would encourage travel understanding significance for policymakers, who findings frame promoting alternatives.

Indonesia's archipelago presents a distinctive opportunity for targeted sustainable development due to its complex interplay of economic advancement and environmental challenges. To better understand this dynamic identify potential areas focused intervention, study applied K-means clustering 2022 data on the Air Quality Index (AQI), electricity consumption, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The analysis aimed delineate provinces into three distinct clusters, providing clearer picture varying levels impact across nation's diverse islands. Each cluster reflects specific dynamics, suggesting tailored policy interventions. results show that in Cluster 1, which exhibit moderate quality lower activity, introduction agricultural enhancements, eco-tourism, renewable energy initiatives is recommended. 2, marked by higher outputs conditions, would benefit from implementation smart urban planning, stricter controls, adoption clean technologies. Finally, 3, includes highly urbanized with robust growth, requires expanded green infrastructure, improved practices, enhanced public transportation systems. These recommendations aim foster balanced growth while preserving integrity Indonesia’s landscapes.

Abstract This research investigates how Intellectual Capital (IC) influences the Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) of Indian pharmaceutical firms that are part NSE NIFTY Pharma index. study delves deeper into moderating influence Independent Directors and examines control effect Leverage (Debt-Equity Ratio) on this relationship. A descriptive design was utilized, employing panel data from FY 2015 to 2024. The dataset obtained Prowess database (CMIE), Two-Step System GMM method utilized with STATA 18 guarantee a thorough econometric analysis. findings indicate plays crucial role in enhancing SGR, thereby reinforcing Resource-Based View (RBV). effectively moderate relationship, strengthening Agency Theory. Nonetheless, leverage has detrimental consistent Pecking Order Pharmaceutical companies ought allocate resources towards Capital, enhance corporate governance, uphold appropriate debt levels ensure sustained long-term growth. combines IC, financial sector, providing valuable concrete insights for policymakers, academics, industry experts.

The electricity growth in the PLN Weda Customer Service Unit (ULP) area Central Halmahera Regency reached 26.64% 2022, driven by national-scale nickel mining, resulting consistent yearly increases demand. ULP Weda's supply, with an installed power of 5.2 MW and a peak load 5.6 MW, faces challenges due to high fuel prices, leading Cost Supply (BPP) value IDR 4,193, significantly higher than average selling price 1,365 Veda system. To address these issues, research methodology, incorporating SWOT TOWS analyses, was employed. Three potential scenarios emerged: relocating Diesel Generating System (SPD) engines, adding rental generator purchasing excess power. Financial Feasibility Study (KKF) calculations, considering Nett's Present Value (NPV), (NPC), Internal Rate Return (IRR), determined purchase scenario as most viable, NPV 29.8 billion, NPC 623 IRR 33.49%, lowest BPP at 1,244. Homer application provided insights into optimizing generating machine units for optimal values. Sensitivity analysis showed that interest rates lower prices contribute This comprehensive offers strategic framework addressing supply area, ensuring financial viability operation.

Abstract The extractive industry has a profound impact on the environment, emphasizing need for environmentally friendly practices. This study employs mixed-methods approach to evaluate environmental of bauxite and iron mining projects in Boke Kerouane, Guinea. Primary data were collected from October 2022 January 2023, with focus water pollution, soil, noise, air quality, vegetation, fauna, flora. A reference matrix was used assess activities, categorizing them as negligible, moderate, or significant. analyzed 400 soil samples 21 sites measured noise levels using an NL52 Class 1 sound level meter, monitored quality DustMate system. Biodiversity surveys conducted identify potential impacts receptors. results showed that pH averaged between 5.79 8.66, some companies exceeded average value electrical conductivity. composition presence Cr, Cu, Ni, Zn both regions. Noise particulate matter pollution guideline values at sites. project will result direct loss natural modified habitats, including erosion lateritic ridge areas. Non-native plant species have been identified Kerouane Iron Project. underscores policymakers integrate climate change mitigation strategies into land use planning integrated index economic performance improve sustainability industry.
