The rapid growth of the global economy and advanced technology has modernized our life, but it taken its toll on ecology environmental sustainability. Over last few decades, world experienced increased emissions toxic gases, severe warming, ambient air pollution. Mass dependency internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles is rightfully criticized for increasing pollution, jeopardizing societal health outcomes, perpetuating use fossil fuels-all which threaten sustainable development. Amid this situation, to ensure economic social as well help achieve development goals (SDGs) by improving energy security, electric (EVs) are green alternatives conventional high-emission vehicles. To successfully promote EV adoption diffusion in emerging economies, key drivers that may foster process must be identified evaluated. However, there exists a conspicuous literature gap domain. This study presents an intelligent multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach, integrating Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM), Cross-Impact Matrix Multiplication Applied Classification (MICMAC) identify, examine, classify successful EVs economies. Based review expert feedback, total seventeen were later prioritized using PCA. top twelve have been further analyzed ISM-MICMAC examine their interrelationships. findings reveal vehicle performance reliability, adequate power charging infrastructure, government policies most influential factors adoption. Finally, offers several managerial implications prospects, aid governments automotive sectors taking strategic measures capture booming market pursue more customers future.

Electric vehicle (EV) disposition may challenge serious environmental issues such as excessive dependence on oil, especially in the transport sector. Despite this understanding, adoption intention has been disappointing to date. This review tries present a comprehensive overview of methodologies, theories, and variables used 57 peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 2022 covering main forms consumer EVs, consisting purchase well behavioral usage intentions. Governments stimulate EVs with exemptions roadway tolls, convenient access charging infrastructures, tax economic incentives considering energy trading sharing. Second, it is important create intensive awareness revolving around EV segment. Furthermore, respecting understanding preferences would also pave way for success acceptance. Finally, consumers’ risk–benefit belief while adopting new technology will play significant role choosing an future, biggest barriers be lack confidence performance, safety standard measures, range per charge.

The transport sector is recognized as a crucial source of emissions. In this regard, electric vehicle (EV) promising technology that can address issue. Although EV introduced an optimal alternative, how to convince people adopt EVs still challenging question. Therefore, further research on promote adoption necessary. Given context, study responds the call by examining whether self-identity has impact purchase orientation and behavior amongst millennials in Vietnam, emerging market. Particularly, Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT) framework plays key part study's moderating process. Utilizing primary data gathered through survey with questionnaire, takes quantitative method. yielded 485 legitimate replies. findings indicate direct indirect behavior. relationship, mediation role UTAUT measures (consumers' expectancy objective motivation) play moderation role. By presenting fresh strategy for accelerating practice, greatly adds body literature already written field. academics, researchers, decision-makers, experts, expounders could find contribution interesting.

The dependence of road transport on fossil fuels and its contribution to greenhouse gas (GHG) pollutant emissions are main concerns leading the need for shifting toward alternative energy sources and, namely, electromobility. current paper aims identify key determinants affecting consumer adoption electric vehicles (EVs), focusing private passenger cars. Toward this purpose, a systematic review recent international literature is conducted in order motivators barriers, which then categorized following PESTLE (Political–Economic–Social–Technological–Legal–Environmental) approach. Based results, policy implications recommendations discussed. A conclusion that highlights wide array determinants, without converging as ones most influential regarding EV by consumers. Another environmental aspects less important consumers than anticipated, despite about climate change renewable transition.
