Rare earth elements (REEs) are metals including the 15 lanthanides together with Yttrium and Scandium. China is leading country in their exploitation production (∼90%). REEs necessary for of several technological devices. This extended use has raised concerns about human health safety. In this review, we investigated hazard to main gaps into knowledge like as need develop further focused research activity. We categorized papers collected eight sections: environmental exposure, association problems, exposure due lifestyle, REE through food chain, Gd contrast agents causing occupational cytotoxicity studies REEs. review provided information exposome (the body), existing data, that require attention must be investigated. More than one third literature toxicity cell lines, while hair, blood serum most studied matrices. The results evidenced can enter body via routes, associated numerous diseases, cause ROS production, DNA damage death, more toxic cancer cells normal cells.

Cadmium and lead soil contamination is a widespread environmental problem that requires profound sustainable solutions. These toxic elements can be naturally occurring on the Earth’s crust or from man-made origins. could accumulate translocate in over long term. Thus, their risk of entering food chain extremely elevated effects living organisms web are great concern. The main purpose this review study to emphasize human health cadmium as an contaminant plants. Human exposure cause severe illness; for instance, long-term alter kidney dysfunction. Additionally, threatens nervous system causes countless diseases. Hence, remediation before they enter remains essential, regular monitoring principal sources crucially needed ecosystem.

People spend increasing amounts of time at home, yet the indoor home environment remains understudied in terms potential exposure to toxic trace metals. We evaluated metal (and metalloid) concentrations (As, Cu, Cr, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn) health risks dust from homes 35 countries, along with a suite potentially contributory residential characteristics. The objective was determine source inputs conditions associated risk across range international communities. For all enrichments compared global crustal values were Zn > Pb Cu As Cr Ni; greatest followed by Mn Ni Zn. Three main sources identified, Pb–Zn–As factor related legacy sources, Zn–Cu reflecting building materials, indicative natural soil sources. Increasing age greater (5.0 0.48 mg/kg per year age, respectively), as peeling paint garden access. Therefore, these factors form important considerations for development evidence-based management strategies reduce posed house dust. Recent findings indicate neurocognitive effects low exposures; hence, an understanding exposome is vital.
