Clarifying the spatiotemporal trade-offs between supply and demand of ecosystem services is critical for regional ecological security sustainable development. This paper focused on West Liao River Basin, a crucial barrier in Inner Mongolia, quantified by utilizing InVEST model. A coupled coordination model established to evaluate supply–demand trade-offs, while decoupling index used analyze dynamic changes coordination. The influencing factors relationship are also explored using geographically temporally weighted regression (GTWR) results from 2005 2020 indicated decrease carbon storage an increase emissions. Water yield, food, meat increased, their decreased. Soil retention both increased. Basin-scale improved low moderate levels, with significant gains matching degrees. Decoupling indices fluctuated, central region showing significantly higher index. GTWR showed that spatial temporal impacts eight driving factors, including land use, CD differed significantly, precipitation having most impact. research provided theoretical basis future development restoration policies.

Human activities along with climate change have unsustainably changed the land use in coastal zones. This has increased demands and challenges mapping detection of zone over long-term periods. Taking Bohai rim area China as an example, this study we proposed a method for long time-series based on Google Earth Engine (GEE) multi-source data fusion. To fully consider characteristics zone, established land-use function classification system, consisting cropland, aquaculture ponds (saltern), urban land, rural settlement, other construction lands, forest, grassland, seawater, inland fresh-waters, tidal flats, unused land. We then applied random forest algorithm, optimal using spatial morphology temporal logic to map annual time series detect changes from 1987 2020. Validation shows overall acceptable average accuracy 82.30% (76.70–85.60%). Results show that cropland region decreased sharply (53.97%) 2020 (37.41%). The lost was mainly transformed into settlements, cities, (port infrastructure). observed continuous increase reclamation stable at beginning followed by rapid 2003 intermediate level 2013. also significant (saltern) starting 1995. Through case study, demonstrated strength methods zones, these support sustainable monitoring management zone.

Rapid urbanization has exacerbated land use transformation, which in turn affected ecosystem service value (ESV). Clarifying the spatial association between change (LUC) and ESV is of relevance to development policies for sustainable (ES) management. In this paper, taking Hubei Province as an example, biomass coefficient, resource scarcity coefficient socioeconomic adjustment are introduced improve assessment model, then spatiotemporal dynamics from 2000 2020 analyzed. Furthermore, coupling coordination degree (CCD) intensity was explored through a CCD model. The results show that (1) changed significantly 2020, mainly cropland built-up land. (2) showed fluctuating upward trend, with increase 71.30%, differences generally decreased, showing pattern “low center high surroundings”. (3) All individual ESVs first decreased increased, regulating services supporting contributing more hydrological regulation, maintenance biodiversity soil conservation being top three functions value. (4) its cities (prefecture forest area) at lowest highest values 2005 respectively. This paper revealed evolution process LUC their coordinated relationship, can provide effective guidance formulation interzonal ES reconcile conflicts

This study proposes framework based on Shared Socioeconomic Pathway Representative Concentration (SSP-RCP), integrating patch-generating use simulation (PLUS) model integrated valuation tradeoffs (InVEST) analyze agglomeration ESs, importance each driving factors. The results show as follows: (1) combination CMIP6 PLUS models can effectively simulate an overall accuracy 0.9379. (2) correlation, ESs good clustering in all three scenarios, similar cold hotspots SSP126 SSP245 scenarios. Hotspots are more dispersed spots shifted west SSP585 scenario. (3) GDP important factor carbon storage habitat quality, precipitation has greater impact soil retention water production. Overall, be increased by appropriately controlling population economic development, balancing protection, promoting energy transition, maintaining hotspot areas, improving spot areas.

Global urbanisation has accelerated in recent years, especially rapidly growing coastal cities, and the destruction of habitat natural resources intensified. Although much attention been paid to study quality, there are still gaps our understanding factors that influence it their interactions. In this study, InVEST quality evaluation model GeoDetector were used construct a framework for analysing dynamic changes influencing from 1992 2015. Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, was selected as area. The new extends studies on change annual analysis reduces lag between actual mapping time. interactions anthropogenic explored, effects different types land use conversion further discussed. results show that: (1) During period, cultivated construction areas City increased most, forest area decreased most. (2) Habitat generally good during but showed declining trend year year, distribution west east. (3) precipitation those population density have most significant impact quality. land, water building greatest can provide recommendations ecological restoration, optimal integration protected areas, reference healthy sustainable development regions.
