The remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) has been established as a comprehensive indicator to evaluating long–term quality (EQ) changes. However, previous studies mostly focused on EQ change analysis at discrete time points and ignored the continuous process. This study aims construct an annual collection from 2000 2019 reveal spatial temporal changes in under combined action of multiple factors. We developed RSEI Northeast China based Google Earth Engine described patterns using trend analysis. Furthermore, we quantified contributions natural anthropogenic driving factors their interactions utilizing geographical detector model. results showed that improved Moderate Good over 2000–2019, with increasing 0.54 0.67. pixel-based suggested regions stable accounted for 52.57% 46.73%, respectively. improvements were found cropland, grassland, woodland. deterioration areas only 0.70% mainly occurred urban, coastal, sandy areas. Among nine factors, elevation, land use intensity, slope primary improvement, 20%, 16%, 13% China, respectively, while eco-engineering area explained 32% negative effect deterioration. Compared contribution single factor, multi-factor significantly enhanced those factors' explanatory power variations. this will provide significant information important reference decision-makers make more targeted efforts environmental protection restoration.

In China, the fast growth of economy and society is causing a change in multifunction cultivated land (MCL), but there still lack proper understanding structural connections between these internal functions. Based on exploring theoretical concept MCL quantitative measurement, this paper applied trade-off/synergy model bivariate spatial autocorrelation to investigate relationships various dimensions MCL, influential factors was revealed by Geographical Detectors. Our research demonstrated that function China's has obviously changed from single grain production complex including social security, ecological cultural functions during 2010–2020. Through measurement results show that, one hand, total amount increases significantly over time; other shows typical differentiation characteristic "high southern low northern". According analysis trade-off/synergy, overall, presents positive synergy situation, situation been enhanced time. As influencing factors, socio-economic development, especially rural affected trade-off/synergy. Moreover, multi-factor interaction considerably improves explanatory power relationship for MCL. These provide evidence establishing more efficient use can also food security management strategies.

Accurately assessing ecosystem services value (ESV) and understanding its spatial distribution characteristics is crucial for establishing compensation standards of ecological protection realizing cross-regional trading. From the perspective heterogeneity theory, we propose an approach model ESV. We apply this to empirical assessment ESV in China by combining multi-source data equivalent factor method. The results can be summarized as follows: (1) sub-functions (ES) their values show significant differences, most ES reveal a pattern decreasing from southeast northwest. (2) After considering heterogeneity, total decreases, including some parts Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, whereas southeastern northeastern regions increases significantly. (3) aggregation Chinese municipalities could characterized, but if not considered, degree will underestimated. based on provides accurate detailed basic basis rational determination protection. Synergies and trade-offs among land use covers (LULCs) pose considerable uncertainties in achieving the dual carbon goals for China's Loess Plateau (CLP). In this context, we unraveled stock dynamics induced by cover change (LUCC) CLP over past 40 years using satellite-derived annual LULC maps InVEST model. Then, mixed measures were employed to quantify global local responses of both natural anthropogenic factors. We found that approximately a total 5.58 × 109 Mg was stored CLP's ecosystems 2019. Chronologically, showed slight decrease from 1980 2019 due extensive LUCCs linked socioeconomic activities. Specifically, density loss rate accelerated urban–rural-wild continuum (RUWC) types with higher human activity intensity, such as villages urban, while it decelerated woodlands, croplands, where intensity is lower. Moreover, gain wildlands accelerating. Finally, revealed primarily influenced variables have responded diversely drivers space.
