Single treatment of metallised food packaging plastics waste (MFPW) has shown disappointing results with recycling rate <20 % due to its complex structure consisting 10 aluminium (Al) and 90 mixed plastic films made PE, PP, PS, PET, etc. Besides, it is generating many emissions residues that must be landfilled making difficult integrate them into the circular economy. Therefore, a multi-stage (MSR) approach recently been developed using several sequential mechanical, thermal chemical processes recover energy Al from MFPW additional revenue for plant operators. The helps decompose fraction wax or oil, gaseous, solid residue (SR) composed coal, while mechanical process can used as pre-treatment feedstock SR. Finally, (leaching functionalization) extract SR refine coal carbon microparticles (CPs), respectively. In order investigate environmental performance proposed MSR system, this research was developed. investigation performed SimaPro life cycle analysis (LCA) tool according ISO 14040/44 Standards impact assessment method ReCiPe 2016. Five different scenarios were in constructed LCA layout, namely, conversion a) gas (pyrolysis), b) wax, gas, chloride (AlCl₃) (pyrolysis leaching), c) AlCl₃, CPs (pyrolysis, leaching, functionalization), d) (catalytic pyrolysis, functionalization). oil produced catalytic pyrolysis generation electricity (scenario e). showed recovery scenario (a) better potential benefits compared incineration practice. did not change much after extraction b, c), few increasing by 2–4% total score. While lot burdens upgrading utilization (Scenario d, e) recorded, reaching 79 huge amount catalyst used. Thus, systems have bigger benefits, however, still need further improved reduce effect terrestrial acidification.

Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects have a growing relevance in the corporate world where objective for sustainability becomes an essential point. The supply chain (SC) is buyer’s responsibility accounts large part of their ESG footprint. Since performance extends to SC, poor practices SC can negatively affect Anchor Company (AC). Therefore, AC, buyer, needs go through complex, expensive, time-consuming process assess SC. this work develop assessment model companies receive quantitative score footprint by considering both operations verified different scenarios that are designed testing two cases with interactions between ACs SCs maturity levels. Results show has significant impact on final highlighting need evolve aspects. In all tested cases, accounted more than 50% consolidated score. Despite differing levels, received same due influence scores. emphasize achieving strong important, advanced not possible without integrating into strategy. novel methodology proposed contributes sustainability, expanding scope assessments include developing standardized adaptable practical applications.

Establishing a sustainable industrial structure system is imperative for transforming the society to high-quality development and achieve "carbon peak" neutrality" goals. In this study, we explored low-carbon pathway of regional optimization balance among economic growth, social security, environmental conservation. A multi-objective model economic-social-environmental was constructed by minimizing carbon emissions maximizing benefits employment. scientific allocation path set various scenarios meet diverse preferences requirements decision-makers. Southwest China used as practical case validate model's efficacy, offering decision-making framework economy. After optimization, reduced 0.9 %∼3.2 %, increased 2.5 %∼4.8 employment levels nearly doubled. The proportion transportation industry in southwest decreased 11.58 %. raw coal energy source with highest contribution emissions, 2494.2 × 108 kgCO2eq.
