The aims of this study were to find suitable environmental enrichment (EE) and evaluate the combined effect two EEs, variable light intensity (VL) lighting program EH, on mental health hepatic metabolic regulation in commercial broilers. To advantageous EEs for broilers, three different (board, hut, ramp) tested trial 1. placed engagement birds dustbathing behavior, daily physical activity observed. Birds treated with huts showed higher than board- or ramp-treated (p < 0.05). results behavior indicated that hut (EH) is most favorable In second trial, test EHs conditions, brain liver sampled from four treatment (20 lx_Con, 20 lx_Hut, VL_Con VL_Hut) day 42. lower expression TPH2 (tryptophan hydroxylase 2) VL_Hut those lx_Hut suggests combining VL central serotonergic homeostasis Reduced expressions TH (tyrosine hydroxylase), GR (glucocorticoid receptor), BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) compared suggest stress, stress susceptibility, chronic social birds. CPT1A (carnitine palmitoyl transferase 1) increased over three-fold lx_Con (VL_Hut) significantly decreased but not lx lx_Hut). ACCα (acetyl-CoA carboxylase alpha) was There no significant difference FBPase (fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase), GR, 11β-HSD1 (11 β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenease-1) between birds, stimulated suggesting reduced fatty acid synthesis β-oxidation broilers’ improved de novo glucose production. Taken together, voluntary by light-enriched broiler house function broilers may indicate contributes efficient nutritional support

The Taihe Black-Bone silky fowl chicken (BB-sfc) is a renowned dietary and medicinal globally recognized for its high nutritional value. Compared to the local black-feathered (BB-bfc), has higher levels of amino acids, trace elements, unsaturated fatty acids in their muscles, which offer anti-aging, anti-cancer, immune enhancing benefits. Despite this, unique components, genes, proteins muscles are largely unknown. Therefore, we performed comprehensive transcriptome proteome analysis muscle development between BB-sfc BB-bfc chickens using RNA-Seq TMT-based quantitative proteomics methods. identified 286 up-regulated genes 190 down-regulated chickens, with oxidoreductase activity electron transfer enriched phospholipid homeostasis cholesterol transporter genes. Proteome revealed 186 significantly increased 287 decreased primarily affecting mitochondrial function oxidative phosphorylation, crucial antioxidant capacity. Integrated 6 overlapped 8 chicken, related improved status. Taken together, this research provides database gene expression protein information aiding fully exploring economic value future.

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is commonly cultivated in the greenhouse and open fields. Organic conventional nutrients are two common inputs for crops. Since there different methods producing tomatoes, four most important scenarios were selected, focusing on types of nutrient management options (organic conventional), cultivation (open field greenhouse). The organic (scenario one: GH-O), two: GH-C), three: OF-O), four: OF-C) examined this research. This study aims to investigate environmental effects tomatoes system nutrients. Life cycle assessment (LCA) was used assess impact scenarios. paper uses midpoint attributional LCA analyze damages during tomato production. In study, effect evaluated three categories: human health, ecosystem quality, resources. boundary starts from cradle ends at farm gate with harvest tomatoes. One ton (mass unit) considered functional unit ReCiPe 2016 model impact. results research showed that scenario (GH-C) had highest yield among other scenarios, one (GH-O) lowest damage.
