In this study, a novel methodology was investigated to improve the spatial resolution and predictive power of geogenic radon maps. The data inputs comprise indoor measurements seven factors including geological (i.e. bedrock Quaternary geology, aquifer type soil permeability) airborne geophysical parameters magnetic field strength, gamma-ray radiation electromagnetic resistivity). tested in Castleisland southwest Ireland, radon-prone area identified based on results previous surveys. developed model capable justifying almost 75 % variation potential. It found that attributes with greatest statistical significance were equivalent uranium content (EqU) permeability. A new potential map produced at higher compared original map, which did not include parameter data. final step, activity gas measured 87 sites, correlation between observed properties evaluated. indicate any using only cannot accurately predict information should be integrated achieve successful prediction model. Furthermore, we EqU is better indicator for predicting than concentrations.

Abstract In order to obtain the surface crack development, displacement information of uranium tailing dam conveniently, and evaluate interrelationship between damage radon migration changes, this paper constructed an indoor model based built a binocular camera using smartphones image data under multi-stage simulated seismic loading. Image processing techniques were used quantify cracks displacements, meters recorded release data. The results showed that was positively correlated with loading strength. At 0.9 g, rate reached 3.27%, free caused by led multiple traction failures; maximum artificial markers on slope increased steadily from 7.748 mm after 0.3 g 19.45 0.7 then surged 46.52 g; stronger earthquake intensity, higher concentration released model. trend consistent displacement, but change more synchronized displacement. technique is expected provide economical intuitive method for engineering environmental safety evaluation.
