Abstract Human pharmaceuticals represent a major challenge in natural environment. A better knowledge on their mechanisms of action and adverse effects cellular pathways is fundamental to predict long-term consequences for marine wildlife. The FTIRI Imaging (FTIRI) spectroscopy represents vibrational technique allowing map specific areas non-homogeneous biological samples, providing unique biochemical ultrastructural fingerprint the tissue. In this study, has been applied, first time, characterize (i) chemical building blocks digestive glands Mytilus galloprovincialis , (ii) alterations (iii) resilience macromolecular composition, after 14-days exposure 0.5 µg/L carbamazepine (CBZ), valsartan (VAL) mixture, followed by recovery period. Spectral features mussels provided insights composition topographical distribution main groups macromolecules, such as proteins, lipids, glycosylated compounds. Pharmaceuticals caused an increase total amount protein significant decrease lipids levels. Changes reflected modulation molecular thus supporting our emerging pollutants. Overall, applied approach could added value within integrated strategies effects-based evaluation environmental contaminants.

BackgroundRecent research has shown that lysosomes play a critical role in the onset and progression of malignancy by regulating tumor cell death through several mechanisms. Nevertheless, involvement lysosome-associated genes (LSAGs) lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is still not well understood.MethodsLSAGs were identified malignant epithelial cells, as biologically functionally annotated comprehensive integration single-cell bulk RNA-sequencing data. Prognostic characterization LSAGs was established, which accuracy reliability assessed one-way Cox LASSO regression. Correlations between LSAG properties immune infiltration, chemotherapy, immunotherapy analyzed integrated omics Finally, we characterized expression three (KCNE1, NPC2, SFTPD) epithelium their impact on related phenotypes.ResultsWe 18 associated with prognosis, 3 used to construct prognostic models. High-risk patients had worse survival model predicted it better than other clinical indicators. Based functional enrichment analyses, binding molecular activity functions, inhibition DNA damage repair growth, IL7 signaling pathway, glycolysis. M0 macrophages M1 substantially enriched high-risk patients. Conversely, there considerable resting dendritic cells M2 at low risk. We also found risk scores outcome immunotherapy. In vitro, KCNE1, SFTPD lowly expressed higher percentage macrophage infiltration. Overexpression suppressed proliferation invasion remarkably reduced polarization cellular secretion pro-tumor cytokines.ConclusionsWe LASGs—KCNE1, SFTPD—to develop validate predictive signature for LUAD Furthermore, promotes cancer polarization. Our study may provide fresh perspectives customized
