Abstract Ribes Fruit (RF) is an underutilized resource. Here, the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) process parameters for RF optimized via medium temperature batch AD experiments using Box–Behnken response surface design. The optimal methane production conditions were organic loading of 16.15 g Volatile Solids (VS)/L, inoculum to substrate ratio 2.05, and initial pH 7.46. measured value cumulative yield under these was 357.42 mL/g VS, which very close model predicted (346.44 VS), with a relative error less than 5%, indicating that valid. findings also show has strong potential compared other types residual biomass, easier, more efficient, environmentally friendly use as feedstock. This research highlights new feedstock biogas engineering advances application from theory practice.

Abstract Myco degradation is an effective technique for breaking down waste plant substances made of lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose, which are collectively known as lignocellulose. This abundant organic material found throughout the world. Due to its recalcitrant nature, lignocellulose poses a challenge efficient conversion into biofuels, biochemicals, other valuable products. degradation, involves use fungi degrade lignocellulosic materials, offers sustainable cost‐efficient resolution this challenge. review provides overview mechanisms applications myco biomass degradation. The discusses various types involved in their enzymatic systems, factors that influences performance. Furthermore, potential products, such enzymes, bioplastics, reviewed. It also highlights implications management development. Overall, represents promising technology deprivation biomass, further research field holds great creation bio‐based

Crambe (Crambe abyssinica Hochst. ex R.E.Fr.) is a drought-tolerant, non-edible annual crop with low fertilization needs, and there are compelling opportunities for crambe to capitalize on market growth in natural cosmetics the regional sustainability. It therefore proposed cleaner biomass production marginal land, development of novel value chains rural areas. Therefore, this study assesses prospects growing processing Swabian Alb, area southwestern Germany large parts which characterized by shallow stony soil. A literature review, stakeholder questionnaires, SWOT analysis were used assess crambe's potential region. This informed locally adapted web, combines multiple stakeholders into one interlinked diagram showing present valorization However, it was found that not currently possible implement web Alb. Instead, single chain involving farmers, companies, biogas plants possible. To expand opportunity more information needed all stakeholders. European Innovation Action projects could help providing about cultivation, ensure ecologic social Economic sustainability, however, will require involvement other so supply matches demand. Local institutions networks can share knowledge grow broader web. approach also be regions sustainability biobased across social, economic, environmental dimensions.
