At present, non-point source pollution (NPSP) has overtaken point as the most important of water in China. Ecological treatment projects (ETP) suitable for have been widely recommended. However, China’s NPSP prevention system not yet taken shape, implementation and management levels are disorganized, long-term protection NPSP-ETP remains an urgent problem. This paper focuses on practical problems encountered promotion ETP China, ways to solve these operation maintenance process. First, practice China summarized being caused by a lack systematic regulation maintenance. Following this, promising countermeasures proposed, including establishing ecological technology system, improving selection assessment method project operation, Finally, novel theory Monitoring-Assessment-Repair (MAR) is proposed bottlenecks engineering Furthermore, problem clogging infrastructure discussed detail, illustrate concrete MAR theory. Overall, this study clarifies issues favor mechanism beyond

ABSTRACT Microplastics (MPs) are a pollutant that increasingly threatens freshwater ecosystems and requires effective solutions for their removal. The aim of this study is to review current filtration methods used remove MPs from environments. This uses systematic method existing literature regarding techniques removing MPs. Data were collected various scientific sources published between 2015 2023. analyzed include traditional advanced technology. results show technologies such as nanofiltration biofiltration have high potential in freshwater. However, each technique has its own challenges, including removal efficiency implementation cost. conclusion an dealing with MP pollution ecosystems; however, further needed address the challenges. provides in‐depth insights can help develop more efficient policies managing future.

The water environment of plain river networks can be self-cleaning to a certain extent, but if the wastewater load exceeds threshold, it disturb natural balance and cause pollution. This underlines importance pollution control measures. However, development measures requires large number hydrological hydrodynamic parameters establishment corresponding relationships through modelling. Therefore, this study mainly used Infoworks ICM model construct detailed hydrological–hydrodynamic analysis for Yundong area Baoying County, Yangzhou City, China, screened main source areas time periods typical rivers in area, proposed effective improvement according actual situation area. results show that after synergistic effect multiple measures, quality reach Class III standard (GB3838-2002). provide reference management network has good application prospects.

Carbon source limitation is a critical factor restricting the treatment efficiency of domestic wastewater by algae–bacteria consortia. Using agricultural waste as an external carbon to enhance purification performance holds significant potential. This study investigated effects peanut shell powder (PSP) on in The results demonstrated that optimal PSP dosage (2 mg/L) improved removal efficiencies TN, TP, and COD 29.6%, 40.9%, 18.7%, respectively. In contrast, excessive reduced performance. primary mechanism which influenced consortia involved changes microbial biomass community structure. An promoted proliferation dominant algal species, Chlorella, enhanced photosynthetic activity, increased relative abundance Rhodanobacter, known for its effective degradation benzene compounds. Conversely, caused cell rupture, inhibited Chlorella growth photosynthesis, elevated Microcystis Brevundimonas, pose health risks. conclusion, can improve effluent quality safety consortia, represents green, economical pathway optimizing processes.
