An increasing proportion of the world’s population lives in urban settings that have limited greenspace. Urbanization puts pressure on existing greenspace and reduces its access. Climate impacts, including increased temperature extreme weather events, challenge maintenance vegetation, reducing ecosystem services benefits for human health. Although has been positively associated with numerous health indicators, evidence allergies respiratory is much less clear mixed. To address these uncertainties, a workshop 20 global participants was held Munich, Germany, May 2024, focusing impact greenspace-related co-exposures This narrative review captures key insights from workshop, roles (1) climate change mitigation, (2) interactions pollen, (3) emissions biogenic volatile organic compounds their byproducts, such as ozone. Additionally, it presents research stakeholder recommendations workshop. Future studies integrate advanced exposure assessments consider interplay pollen compounds, along relevant byproducts are needed. Increased public awareness policy actions will also be essential developing maximizes benefits, minimizes risks, ensures resilience amid changing rapid urbanization.

This study aims to assess the global progress in research on impact of forest therapy mental health by using bibliometric analysis. We analyzed relevant literature from Web Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database utilizing software tools such as Bibliometrix (Version 4.1), VOSviewer 1.6.19), and CiteSpace 6.3.R1). There appears be a growing trend annual publication volumes 2006 2023. Miyazaki was identified most prolific author this field. Japan South Korea lead contributions, while China has highest number publications. The International Journal Environmental Research Public Health is journal with publications citations area. Recent keyword clustering reveals an increasing frequency studies anxiety urban green spaces. findings suggest that exposure negative air ions compounds released plants can stimulate five human senses, reduce cortisol levels, improve health. Although have demonstrated significant effects alleviating stress, anxiety, depression, more large-scale long-term are needed for further evidence. Additionally, it crucial explore different types, terrains, altitudes, climates, conditions effectiveness

It is well known that carbonyl compounds play an important role in air pollution and the formation of secondary pollutants, such as peroxyacetyl nitrates (PAN). Additionally, airborne carbonyls have been described cytotoxic, mutagenic carcinogenic. In this research, several compounds, including aldehydes ketones, ozone, were monitored during a campaign conducted July September-October 2023 at Golf Ciudad Real, golf course located non-industrial area south-central province Spain. Extraction analysis carried out following procedures outlined by Radiello®. Analyses performed using HPLC-DAD UV-Visible spectrophotometry. Ozone shows seasonal variation (temperature-dependent) concentrations displaying lower values September/October. Among all identified carbonyls, butanal was most abundant, accounting for 40% total concentration. The C1/C2 C2/C3 ratios also calculated to provide information about main emissions sources analyzed indicating mainly anthropogenic contribute quality area. data further supported Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) models ProtoPRED online server, which employs silico methods based on European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) regulations assess (eco)toxicity measured compounds.
