With the rapid development of economy, people are paying more and attention to environmental problems. In this circumstance, concept a circular economy is proposed for making efficient use resources minimizing production waste other emissions. Each year, construction sector consumes vast volume makes impacts on environment. To align with green building proposed. China, though has been promoted decades, status far from optimistic. Thus, paper aims investigate barriers that hinder (GBD) in China. Through systematic review semi-structured interviews experienced industrial practitioners, 24 potential GBD China were identified. A questionnaire survey was then conducted data collection. After descriptive inferential statistical analyses, partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) established different GBD. Results showed lack policy industry guidance, immature market environment, awareness most important This research can assist stakeholders better understanding enable decision-makers formulate appropriate strategies promote building.

The pilot scheme of low-carbon cities was first introduced in 2006 China and now three rounds over a hundred have been listed as pilots. There studies arguing that the policy has significantly reduced carbon emission cities. However, with greater leverage resource input, it is not difficult for to reduce their overall emissions. more important question is: Do efficiently considering various input output indicators? Does really make difference by reducing at city level from cost-effectiveness perspective? This research addresses gap introducing Malmquist-Luenberger productivity index DEA quasi-experimental method Difference Propensity Score Matching (PSM-DID) evaluate impacts China. Beyond results did improve efficiency cities, article generates several intriguing findings: (1) Although existing researches argue helps immediately, our findings suggest takes longer time efficiency; (2) proportion secondary industry energy intensity are negatively related while capital-labor ratio investment work other way around; (3) might further deepen urban divide between eastern western regions since effective on cities; (4) mechanisms through which effects also discussed.

Urban land green use efficiency (ULGUE) is one of the important indicators growth, making limited resources exert optimal benefits and minimize environmental pollution, enabling development cities. This survey measures ULGUE 284 Chinese cities at prefecture level above using Super-SBM model, built around panel data from 2004 to 2021. The geographic temporal evolution features are studied ArcGIS exploratory spatio-temporal analysis (ESTDA). elements influencing assessed a spatial econometric model. It found that: (1) fluctuates rises with time but has still not achieved validity in general; regionally, west > east central, an overall roughly decreasing trend perimeter center; provincially, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hainan basically achieve validity. (2) Each city's enthusiastic association. number dynamic local structures increases, strong dependence regional synergy be further strengthened. leap matrix indicates that most have undergone transformation cohesion. (3) Spatial modeling results highlight assisted by urbanization, industrial structure, regulation, economic development, while it hampered population density, scientific technical input, financial development. may optimized through bolstering urban collaboration, refining system, developing utilizing orderly manner, adjusting constructing system "government, industry, academia, research, application."

ABSTRACT This paper provides a comprehensive review of slacks‐based measure (SBM) models within the nonparametric data envelopment analysis (DEA) framework. The reveals that development and modifications SBM have progressed in multiple directions. Key areas modification include (1) nature inputs outputs, (2) specificity, (3) super‐efficiency for ranking decision‐making units, (4) inclusion networks organizational structures or production processes, (5) dynamic analysis, (6) various other methodological aspects. Increasingly, complex addressing aspects, such as input/output characteristics are appearing literature. Another notable trend is integration proposals from different authors into unified models. Some publications even attempt to forecast future efficiency levels incorporate large datasets (big data). Despite numerous advancements, still lack robust statistical inference capabilities, unlike radial models, which possess more developed foundations.
