The Fifth Session of the UNEA-5 defines Nature-based Solutions (NbS) as "actions to protect, conserve, restore, sustainably use and manage natural or modified terrestrial, freshwater, coastal marine ecosystems, which address social, economic environmental challenges effectively adaptively, while simultaneously providing human well-being, ecosystem services resilience biodiversity benefits". A large number EU HORIZON 2020 research program projects include implementation NbS in urban settings. proGIreg project implemented several for regeneration with citizens its Living Lab city Turin (Italy), among others. Focusing on forestry, this paper addresses following question: where can be within city, order maximize their social impact? To achieve goal, by identifying neighborhoods need implementation, 3–30-300 rule proposed International Union Conservation Nature (IUCN) was adopted implemented, taking greater account characteristics. also proposes an index identify that could have precedence NbS. results highlight 10 there is a high implementation.
