A citric acid cross-linked β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) polymer was synthesized and loaded on micro-ceramic balls to fabricate the solid-phase adsorbents (P-MCB) for adsorption extraction of triazole pesticides from water. This study evaluates the preparation of novel ternary functional adsorbents based on polyaniline, zinc oxide nanoparticles, and moringa oleifera gum to produce oxide/Moringa gum-grafted L-methionine-functionalized polyaniline bionanocomposites (ZM-g-Pani) employed sequestrate divalent metal ions (Cd2+, Hg2+ Pb2+) from wastewater samples. The morphological structural properties ZM-g-Pani were exploited using FT-IR, FE-SEM/EDS, TEM, XRD. FT-IR FE-SEM studies show that as prepared nanocomposite has an abundant number reactive groups a porous structure, thus demonstrating outstanding cation removal. confirms attachment L-methionine is facilitated by C-S linkage. Both TEM techniques confirmed clustered granules ZnO over surface which ultimately provided more area adsorb ions. demonstrated Cd2+, Pb2+ could undergo physical sorption chemisorption simultaneously during adsorption process. maximum capacity was 840.33, 497.51, 497.51 mg/g for Hg2+, Pb2+, respectively. impact co-existing ions, including NO3−, PO43−, SO42−, Cl−, Na+, Cu2+, Al3+, showed there no notable alterations in selected with ZM-g-Pani. eight successive regeneration cycles than 85% removal efficiency.
