To examine the associations of apolipoprotein E (APOE) carrier status and lipid profiles with sleep disorders, including excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) probable rapid eye movement behavior disorder (pRBD), among patients early Parkinson's disease (PD) over 5-year follow-up periods. The Progression Markers Initiative is a multicenter cohort study based on an ongoing open-ended registry. Data from baseline visits participants de novo PD were analyzed. Longitudinal APOE disorders estimated via linear mixed-effects models. A total 657 complete genotypes enrolled at baseline. Among them, 153 (25.3%) had available In models, ε2/ε3/ε4 did not exhibit significant EDS pRBD (all p > 0.05) in all However, reduced high-density lipoprotein (HDL) elevated triglycerides (TG) associated developing (β = -0.04, 95% CI: -0.07, -0.00) 0.01, 0.00, 0.02) patients, respectively. ε4+ subgroup, decreased HDL increased TG displayed substantial < respectively, whereas no differences noted ε4- subgroup 0.05). Our demonstrate clear association between patients. presence ε4 was changes profiles, notably affecting levels.
