Chemical-only fertilization is ubiquitous in contemporary conventional agriculture despite the fact that sustainability of this agricultural practice increasingly being questioned because current observed soil degradation. We explored how long-term chemical-only versus organic-only fertilizations impacted microbiota reservoir terms both diversity and induced assembly processes. The results showed resulted deep selection pressure on microbial community reservoir, with a higher proportion specialists stronger signature deterministic has clearly changed as consequence regime. diagnoses functional consequences these ecoevolutionary changes relation to practices are key imagining time ahead especially regarding future efforts for conservation, restoration, management which fertility ecosystem.
