Nitrogen (N) is the first essential nutrient for tea growth. However, effect of soil acidification on N cycle and forms in plantation are unclear. In this study, nitrogen contents, enzyme activity mineralization rate acidified were measured. Moreover, effects cycling functional genes microorganisms explored by metagenomics. The results showed that NH4+-N, available net decreased significantly, while NO3--N content increased significantly. activities sucrase, protease, catalase polyphenol oxidase abundance related to ammonification, dissimilatory reduction, nitrification denitrification pathway but glutamate synthesis assimilatory reduction opposite. addition, Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, Chloroflexi, Nitrospirae, Actinomadura, Nitrospira etc. nitrification, pathogenic significantly soil. correlation pH correlated with activity, function microbial changes. conclusion, significant changes gene microorganism involved various processes soil, which leads imbalance form ratio not conducive transformation absorption trees.
