Purpose
Considering
the
entrepreneurship
nature
and
high
number
of
small
medium
enterprises
(SMEs)
in
Latin
American
region,
this
study
seeks
to
empirically
test
relationship
between
organizational
culture
(OC),
transformational
leadership
(TF)
performance
(OP)
support
their
long-term
survival.
Design/methodology/approach
Under
a
post-positivism
paradigm,
quantitative
approach
correlational
scope,
research
analyzed
interrelationship
OC,
TF
OP
across
Peruvian
SMEs.
Confirmatory
factor
analysis
(CFA)
structural
equation
modeling
(SEM)
were
used
hypotheses
based
on
responses
276
SMEs’
top
executives
from
commerce,
services,
manufacturing,
construction
agriculture
industries.
Findings
OC
fully
mediates
TL
OP.
Although
solely
