Abstract Rare earth resources are important national strategic resources, and the mining process will change original land use types, it have a certain impact on ecosystem service values around rare areas. To study of changes functions in areas, firstly, trends area from 2009 to 2019 were analyzed using transfer matrix; then distribution flow direction measured based value equivalents; spatial autocorrelation analysis was done explore their patterns; finally, cross-sensitivity coefficient used quantitatively assess service, extent values. The results show that types mainly forest farmland, with woodland accounting for highest proportion area. ESV consistent trend transformation, overall increase decrease being comparable, is concentrated areas large construction land; during period, significantly reduced low - aggregation ecological environment improved; 2011, sensitivity more variable, sensitive net conversion between water desert, 2014 2019, less most cultivated water. should be reasonably developed protected build an security pattern.

Land use/cover change (LUCC) can impact the provision of ecosystem service values (ESVs), particularly in wetland regions that are subject to frequent and unsustainable land conversions. Exploring past future trajectory LUCC its effects on ESV has a great significance for management habitat stability. This study tried reveal patterns magnitude under varying development scenarios Yellow River Delta region, which is typical region undergoing serious degradation China. In this study, combined approach utilizing equivalent coefficients services was employed determine relation major use types (LUTs). The Markov–FLUS model then used simulate LUTs across multiple 2030 clarify relationship between other LUTs. results indicated severely degraded, with loss area 6679.89 ha 2000 2020. Cropland water body were main sources diversion turnover wetland, respectively. Despite scenario projections revealed, exhibited similar growth rate homogeneity natural (ND), urban construction (UCD), ecological (ED) scenarios. ED deemed optimal strategy ecosystem. Our research will improve comprehension decisions promote sustainable estuarine areas.

Green innovation has risen to prominence as a critical instrument in addressing economic downturns and reducing carbon emissions (CEs) amidst the ongoing global climate crisis. While its impact on drawn considerable research attention, specific role it plays within metropolitan landscapes remains underexplored. In an endeavor bridge this gap, study explored of green (GI) emission intensity (CEI) across 34 Chinese areas (MAs) from 2010 2019, leveraging nuanced analysis afforded by spatial econometrics. Our findings elucidated U-shaped trajectory delineating relationship between GI CEI these MAs. Initially, increase was correlated with decline CEI, before witnessing upswing at later stage. We further discerned that urban integration environmental regulation can potentiate positive influences CEI. Intriguingly, our unveiled disparity influence exerted different MAs: while both mature developing MAs followed aforementioned pattern, cultivated exhibited negative linear correlation. By intricate dynamics, not only injects fresh perspectives into discourse GI's CEs, but also augments understanding CE

Territorial spatial conflicts (TSCs) refer to a contradiction of utilization resulting from the inconsistency needs and objectives different subjects interest for resources in planning, utilization, management. This research aimed unveil TSCs, construction land expansion (CLE), their relationship Guizhou Province 1980 2020, both temporally spatially. paper established indicators assess CLE, including velocity, intensity, pattern analyze characteristics Province. At same time, territorial conflict indicator (SCII) was constructed study TSCs Province, its evolution explored through cold hotspot analysis. On this basis, it investigated linkage between CLE ordinary least squares (OLS) regression model geographically weighted (GWR) model. Furthermore, also an economic elasticity coefficient population collaborative GDP along with volume. The revealed that while velocity intensity have escalated over displayed considerable geographical variation across various locations. Simultaneously, intensified, demonstrating slight positive correlation expansion. temporal response provided reference optimization regional space. This study incorporated ecological footprint (EF) consumption into a framework to assess well-being. A model and implementation for characterizing regional net well-being were then developed. Using the Guanzhong Plain Urban Agglomeration (GPUA) as case study, land use data from 2000 2020 utilized calculate ecosystem service value (ESV), representing supply side of functions. Simultaneously, EF was assessed demand side. Taking account level economic development characteristics people’s living, evaluation constructed arrive at deficit or surplus situation. The results indicated that: (1) overall ESV GPUA follows trend initial growth followed by decline. Woodland, grassland, farmland are main contributors total ESV, with regulating supporting services accounting more than 80% value. (2) in shows significant upward trend, increasing over 70% on average. carrying capacity has slightly increased, biologically productive area that can support human activities expanding 1909.49 million hectares. Additionally, urban agglomeration cities tended stabilize since 2015. (3) Since 2010, anthropogenic continued exceed capacity, resulting an deficit. average compensation per hectare increased 35.588 CNY 187.110 CNY. offers theoretical foundation definition research providing accurate assessment multiple scales. It is expected this approach will help reduce opportunity costs associated protection, while promoting balanced preservation.
