In this study, an ecosystem service value evaluation method was applied to establish a coupling coordination degree model, quantify the and relationship between land-use cover change changes, examine impacts of different driving factors on changes. The results were as follows. (1) 2020, these two variables peaked at level above 0.9. (2) Their one in 2000, indicating transformative shift entry into new stage during period within study area. This provides valuable information for development ecological compensation restoration strategies Horqin Sandy Land’s civilization construction plan.

Ecosystem service value (ESV) reflects ecosystem functions and benefits; however, the factors influencing ESV mechanisms driving it in wetlands non-wetlands are not yet fully understood. The Yellow River Delta (YRD) is distinguished by presence of numerous wetland areas that both Reserve non-Reserve thus was selected as designated study area. In this study, spatiotemporal structures YRD between 2000 2020 were studied using land cover change analysis equivalent factor methodology. addition, we analyzed drivers behind geographical variability applying Geographical Detector method. results showed structure National Nature relatively stable, whereas area exhibited greater fluctuations; is, decreased 11.43% compared with more stable areas, where 4.93%. Furthermore, disparities distribution use types gave rise to a discernible spatial overall ESV, northeast exhibiting significantly higher levels southwest. Additionally, past two decades, center gravity regions has shifted towards urban centers, have migrated coastline. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index identified main driver heterogeneity. findings highly relevant regional ecological conservation promotion economic social development.

Assessing the ecosystem service value (ESV) of grasslands is crucial for sustainable resource management and environmental conservation. This study evaluates spatiotemporal changes in grassland services Bosten Lake Basin using long-term land use data (2000–2022). Employing Patch-generating Land Use Simulation (PLUS) model, we develop three future scenarios—natural development, ecological protection, economic priority—to predict utilization trends. The findings reveal a continuous decline area values, driven by climate change human activities. Compared with 2022, all scenarios indicate further degradation, but protection measures significantly mitigate ESV loss. provides scientific insights policy-making, contributing to restoration strategies under impacts. following: (1) Over 22-year period, has experienced an overall decline. Exploring the dynamic variation in ecosystem services and clarifying driving mechanism will help with formulation of effective ecological environment protection policies. Accordingly, this study sought to reveal complex variability Yellow River Delta (YRD) at a higher temporal resolution transition between main factors different periods. To end, we used economic equivalent factor valuation method quantify service value from 2000 2019 5-year intervals. Furthermore, Geo-detector model was identify interaction variations. Then, analyzed spatial variations transitions The results are as follows: (1) From 2019, YRD showed an increasing trend followed by decline, whereby water construction land increased other classes decreased. Overall, inland coastal distribution patterns exhibited low high values, respectively. (2) were NDVI topographical (aspect, slope, elevation), which had q values that stable greater than those factors. Although human activity, tourist resource concentration traffic convenience comparatively minor effect on services, noted where their effects 2019. (3) detection interactions revealed mechanisms affecting YRD. Interactions variables stronger influence individual effects. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) consistently most significant impact. These primarily shaped services. activities nonlinear enhancement. contribute improving our cognition influencing offering theoretical support for improvement

To integrate the sponge city concept into urban development, we propose an analytical approach for runoff volume control, considering expansion. Using Changchun City as a case study and historical land-use data, simulated prediction of City’s structure 2035 change with GeoSOS-FLUS platform. We calculated storage volumes Low Impact Development (LID) designs using 2019 land surface data. The objective is 80% control rate by 2035. Through Monte Carlo simulation sensitivity analysis, assessed impact various types on LID calculations. Findings show that industrial significantly influences volumes.
