Abstract This study marks a pioneering effort in utilizing Vachellia tortilis subsp. raddiana (Savi) Kyal. & Boatwr., (commonly known as acacia ) leaves both reducing and stabilizing agent the green “eco-friendly” synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The research aimed to optimize AgNPs process by investigating influence pH, temperature, extract volume, contact time on reaction rate resulting AgNPs' morphology well discuss potential detecting some heavy metals. Various characterization methods, such UV–vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), infrared spectroscopy (IR), Zeta sizer, EDAX, transmitting (TEM), were used thoroughly analyze properties synthesized AgNPs. XRD results verified successful production with crystallite size between 20 30 nm. SEM TEM analyses revealed that are primarily spherical rod-shaped, sizes ranging from 8 41 Significantly, was notably higher basic conditions (pH 10) at 70 °C. These underscore effectiveness source for sustainable synthesis. also examined ability detect various metal ions colorimetrically, including Hg 2+ , Cu Pb Co .
