This study explores the influence of Thai government policy perceptions on adoption electric vehicles (EVs). Transitioning to EVs is vital for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change, aligning with global sustainability goals. addresses gaps in understanding how multidimensional policies EV intentions emerging markets, particularly Thailand. A questionnaire was distributed 3770 respondents across Thailand between January March 2024. The survey assessed multiple dimensions policy, including commitment efficiency, welfare, communication, effectiveness, tax benefits. Using statistical techniques such as Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), second-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM), this validated constructs support perception examined their intentions. findings highlight that tangible policies, those improving infrastructure providing clear regulatory support, alongside effective communication about these significantly public willingness adopt EVs. results also emphasize critical role perceived fiscal incentives shaping consumer decisions. Based insights, recommends prioritizing expansion infrastructure, enhancing visibility commitment, direct financial accelerate adoption. These contribute growing body knowledge markets offer practical implications policymakers seeking promote sustainable transportation solutions.

As of the end 2024, there are only about 781 electric vehicles (EV) on streets Kuwait, ranking it at 0.03 percentile total car population and as country with lowest EVitization worldwide. In this study, we explore reasons behind ultra-low adoption rate from a variety standpoints: 1. qualitative perspective based deep interviews 10 existing EV owners in Kuwait; 2. marketing capital operational expenses by gathering latest data common database Kuwaiti automobile dealers; 3. governmental incentives infrastructural development; 4. technical how EVs perform extreme heat conditions, such those Kuwait. From these four perspectives, gather several for rate, provide possible solutions that likely to increase which residents replace their internal combustion engine automobiles and, thus, lower carbon footprint, is one highest world.

Electric mobility has been widely discussed as a viable solution for decarbonizing the transport sector and promoting urban sustainability. However, integration of electric into planning still requires further in-depth research. This article aims to identify key attributes linking with through Systematic Literature Review (SLR) provide an overview Brazilian context regarding policies guidelines electromobility. The findings indicate that primary connecting include alignment existing plans guidelines, sectoral integration, infrastructure, multi-sectoral engagement, environmental sustainability, urbanism, user profiles, technologies, governance. In Brazil, despite existence national there is gap in updating public fully integrate electromobility planning. study concludes stronger between necessary, along more robust incentives electrification transport. By identifying these attributes, this provides structured framework policymakers planners enhance regulatory mechanisms, infrastructure planning, governance strategies, contributing sustainable, resilient, efficient systems.
