High energy, high strength, and stable combustion character are the basic requirements of a modern gun propellant (GP). Herein, graphene nanosheets (GNSs) introduced into nitroguanidine (NQ-GP) as reinforcements to modify its comprehensive performance. A series in-depth characterizations were conducted characterize structure composition propellant, demonstrating that GNSs integrated well in system. The result mechanical properties manifested anti-impact strength increased with increase content low 0.5% GP exerted better than those under different temperature conditions; brickwork bridging effect enhancement mechanism was proposed well. Besides, thermal decomposition investigated heating conditions like programmed pressure. It revealed can produce catalytic on process heat release. Additionally, analysis kinetics by method Friedman demonstrated addition proper could further enhance activation energy NQ-GP stability, which is opposite linear fitting methods Kissinger Ozawa. results obtained likely vary action mechanisms systems or stages. also high-pressure GNS contents obvious influence behavior such Tp Moreover, it found introduction would not burning stability rate coefficient (a) pressure exponent (n) be modified GNSs. Hence, work presented herein highly broadens application scope reinforcement nanofiller will potential value community development high-energy high-strength GPs.

Efficient recovery of gallium (Ga) from vanadium slag processing residue (VSPR) solution is great significance for environmental protection and resource utilization, but improving its selective adsorption against the coexisting Sc3+ In3+ still challenging. Herein, a novel adsorbent consisting 4-amino-3-hydrazino-1,2,4-triazol-5-thiol (AHTZT)-modified graphene oxide (GO-AHTZT) was successfully synthesized that exhibits higher selectivity Ga3+ in VSPR with In3+. Under optimal conditions, capacity GO-AHTZT can reach 23.92 mg g−1, which 4.9 12.6 times than (4.87 g−1) (1.90 adsorption, indicating excellent anti-interference ability The process mechanism onto also studied discussed detail. By measuring by characterizing before after we demonstrate interaction between Ga3+- N-containing groups AHTZT main reason improved selectivity. This work opens up an avenue design synthesis highly adsorbents complex solutions.

Energetic binders, essential components of energetic materials (EMs), act as the main support for energy and mechanical properties propulsion. Compared with conventional nitrocellulose (NC), two nitrated bacterial cellulose (NBC) nitrate glycerol ether (NGEC), exhibit promising applications in enhancing strength propulsion due to their inherent physicochemical features. Herein, we present a series characterizations methods study structures NC, NBC, NGEC by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, Raman photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). More importantly, thermal analysis was performed under four universal heating conditions: programmed, constant temperature, high pressure, adiabatic. It found that NBC exhibited higher stability activation (Ea) iso-conversional rate kinetic analysis, including Friedman, Vyazovkin, Ozawa–Flynn–Wall (OFW), Kissinger–Akahira–Sunose (KAS) methods. Under high-pressure conditions, decomposition reaction NC promoted increased pressure range 0–3 MPa, such decreased whereas stability. adiabatic it presented than can produce more gases generate less time. be concluded binders different exert various effects. Hence, results this work on may offer fundamental theory data supporting future formulas.
