The heavy environmental effect of the fashion industry, along with growing interest consumers in sustainability issues, is driving this industry towards greater ecological integrity through development sustainable clothing. This study investigates which factors influence green consumer behavioral intention clothing a survey 2.694 Italian consumers. We consumer's concern, perceived value product, and familiarity product (both direct indirect experiences) on purchase willingness to pay premium price for products. Our results show that concern positively affect regardless type eco-materials used products, whereas experiences have different effects based specific eco-material used. Further, behavior strongly dependent consumers’ socio-demographic characteristics. Based these results, important implications scholars, managers, policymakers are provided can foster consumers' adoption transition more society. For instance, directions marketing strategy public communication campaigns provided.

The world’s population is expected to grow at an increasing rate, leading increased food consumption and waste production. Even though represents one of the most challenging economic environmental issues 21st century, it also provides a vast array valuable resources. To address challenge, this study uses resource recovery from close supply chain loop, which cornerstone circular economy. By applying bibliometric review technique, trends patterns in economy were studied. analysis frequent keywords field provided insights into further research directions. A Boolean search Scopus database resulted 288 articles, published between 2015 2021. Further screening titles, keywords, abstracts 155 journal articles. Bibliometric coupling, including authors’ co-citation data, co-occurrence, occurrence was graphically mapped using VOSviewer software. From publications, eight broad themes emerged: (1) anaerobic digestion for creation; (2) systems life cycle assessments economy; (3) bio-based approaches; (4) consumer behavior attitudes toward economies; (5) chains (6) material flow sustainability; (7) challenges, policies, practices achieve circularity; (8) consumption. Based on themes, we emphasize urgent need promote collaboration governments, private sector, educational institutions, researchers, who should combine efforts promote, integrate accelerate acceptance circularity, will potentially mitigate greenhouse emissions associated with loss waste. We highlight opportunity encourage upcycled hierarchy. In addition, deduce that there quantify gases due along value chain; important as pathway examining ‘food leaks’ chain. This can then inform optimal strategies targeting specific areas experiencing leaks. Lastly, wastage affects entire globe; however, future studies funding be channeled towards investigating possibility implementing circularity developing countries.

The purpose of this paper is to provide rich empirical evidence on circularity solutions adopted by the largest companies in fast fashion industry. sustainability reports six global players were analyzed using a comprehensive circular model value chain. This comprises eleven stages: product design, virgin raw material extraction and processing, textile production, manufacturing, auditing certification, packaging retail, customer use, post-consumer garment collection, recycling fibers materials, partnerships, transparency. results are reported five implementation phases: strategies, research development, at scale, quantitative indicators, targets. analysis shows that major sector created complex system for reducing their environmental impact while imposing strict rules upstream supply Downstream, these educate customers topic promote recycle-or-reuse consumer habits.
