Informatization plays a leading role in promoting the deep integration of technology and industry stimulating vitality new business creation. Based on city-level data from 2003 to 2022, this study investigates effect informatization urban entrepreneurial activity mechanisms using establishment "pilot zones for industrialization integration" as policy shock employing time-varying difference-in-differences (DID) method. The findings show that significantly enhances activity. Moreover, is stronger smart manufacturing service industries, well cities with superior economic levels higher administrative rankings. mechanism test reveals mainly stimulates by enhancing technical talents technological foundations, expanding market demand, improving investment environment. This not only enriches research correlation between entrepreneurship but also provides important theoretical basis implications fully leveraging advantages construction development.
