Abstract
We
examine
the
role
institutional
pressures,
at
subnational
level,
play
in
generation
of
eco-innovations
and
explicitly
consider
how
they
interact
with
firms’
heterogeneous
capabilities
ownership
characteristics.
Theoretically,
we
combine
elements
from
theory
resource-based
view
firm
to
develop
our
hypotheses.
Empirically,
use
a
novel
dataset
over
period
2003–2013
compiled
