Abstract Poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) has been widely employed in biomedical disciplines due to its several advantages, including biocompatibility, nontoxicity, and low‐cost preparation. However, the intrinsic hydrophobicity of this material encourages biofouling reduces cell regulation capacity, thereby limiting applicability. The review aims to summarize recent reports of stimuli-responsive nanomaterials based on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) and discuss their applications in biomedicine. In the past few decades, MIPs have been proven show widespread as new molecular recognition materials. development has successfully endowed with not only affinity properties comparable those natural antibodies but also ability respond external stimuli (stimuli-responsive MIPs). this review, we will synthesis MIPs, classification MIP (MIP-NMs), dynamic mechanisms, biomedicine, including bioanalysis diagnosis, biological imaging, drug delivery, disease intervention, others. This mainly focuses studies smart MIP-NMs biomedical perspectives after 2015. We believe that be helpful for further exploration contribute expanding practical especially biomedicine near future.
