Abstract Objectives Eumycetoma is a neglected tropical fungal disease of the subcutaneous tissue that currently not treatable with medication only. Standard itraconazole therapy combined surgical excision lesion. Recently, ibrexafungerp, novel oral antifungal agent inhibiting 1,3-β-D-glucan synthesis, was approved by United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for treatment vulvovaginal candidiasis. In this study we determined in vitro activity vivo efficacy ibrexafungerp eumycetoma causative agents. Methods against 30 Madurella 7 Falciformispora isolates standardized susceptibility assays. The combination measuring 10 day survival M. mycetomatis F. senegalensis grain models Galleria mellonella larvae. Grain number size were Grocott- haematoxylin eosin–stained sections.
